Maybe picked it up in training?

That's poxy. I suppose the only thing I'd say is that, if we had to cop an injury somewhere, the wing is probably our best place to do so. It would be much worse to lose a halfback or Nacewa. But Larmour was very useful as cover for the back three and centre.

I wonder if this will tempt them to look at Lowe on the wing now and sacrifice JGP? With that said, I'm not sure I'd like Lowe in this particular game. He's so boom bust in his style which is fantastic fun to watch but I'd rather another handful of games under his belt. It seems almost every game he drops a clanger in defence.....and then does something brilliant.

I'd love to see Barry Daly keep his spot. It's a great story and he has had an excellent season.

    sounds like carbery at 15.

Jesus wept... thought we escaped any more injuries. Losing Henshaw was terrible. S.O.B playing is a dice roll at this stage.
It kinda evens out Billy V and his injury.
Hope we get thru this weekend clean and healthy.

In real terms the only single loss Leinster could suffer that would match Billy V is Johnny. Billy is the most important player that both England and Sarries have. Even Farrell is more replaceable than Billy.

Sub backs are odd, why not Frawley instead of Kearney?

I guess we have two out-halves on the pitch, so no need for a replacement

That pack should be more than enough to bring us home

You can be sure the likes of Maro and Liam Williams will look at the Leinster team with frustration.

Interesting to see Sarries left Farrell and Kruis out due to injury...

I wonder if the injury is "cotton wool until europe injury" or "they'll miss that match" injury/

Ospreys starting their Welsh stars immediately. That's a big boost to them. Davies, AWJ and Tipuric are huge boosts to their side along with Biggar.

Disappointed to not see Ruddock involved. Leavy to come back in for Murphy and that's probably our back row for next week. Ruddock or SOB on the bench, hopefully.

    Most importantly, where is Nacewa?

Itoje, yes. Liam Williams is fine and has been out for half the season so far.

He started 3 test matches in a row, if he was here he'd be taking a week off.

I’m hoping it’s just a case Nacewa is only being brought out for the big games.

Defo suggests retirement 2.0 is all but a certainty at the end of the season.

Now that the kids are a bit older I wonder if he’d be interested in moving to Ireland permanently? He’s only short of being given the keys to the city.

I'm just never confident when I see Noel Reid in the team.

    (Sorry Noel).

Would expect that Ospreys team to beat that Leinster team so we'll need Munster to do us a favour against Scarlets.

The Nacewa situation is very odd.

I think JGP benching this week means that he is very likely to do so again next week, which means no Lowe against Saracens.

    Tell that to Ulster.

Ulster need to win this week or their Champions Cup dreams are over which would be a huge setback for the entire squad. And also, of course, all those guys will be taking a week off next week.

Neither of those things apply to Sarries.

    Really?

Ospreys are a much poorer side than last year and we beat them with a similar team missing a chunk of our frontliners.

That Ospreys side had Underhill, Tipuric, Webb, Biggar and a host of other good players.

I think with a pack as strong as ours we'd be favourites for this one

Nah, we had a serious team out there last year. Henshaw, Furlong, Nacewa, Toner, VDF and Ruddock all started along with guys like Cronin, McGrath and Conan who are starting tomorrow. Definitely better than what we have on the field tomorrow, I reckon.

The Ospreys were also missing AWJ and Bradley Davies in their pack. And when all was said and done, it took a last minute drop goal from Ross Byrne and an injury time penalty miss from a concussed Dan Biggar for us to win.

Our pack looks good enough tbh. I’m expecting a win on this one. Ospreys have been very poor this season.
