Dropped kids to school as bus didn't show up. Currently listening to snow gradually sliding down along the roof as it starts to melt...

Sitting in the kitchen - I know I can hardly believe it myself - about to get ready to see the doc. No work for me this week.

Sitting on the couch in the kitchen beside the stove .. 3 year old watching Dora on my tablet, with my headphones and won't give it back .. it's snowed and froze and snowed some more, I feel really tired today and thinking about not going to Dublin, which makes me feel like a horrible Mammy.

He's still being spoiled in icu until a bed becomes available on the ward.. speaking with his nurse this morning, she has a lovely day planned consisting of bath, playmat, cuddles and sitting him out in his chair. All this will happen when he eventually wakes up. There are mornings when I'm home where I wonder why the one who sleeps all night can't come home and show his big sister how it's done! :)

You’re so far from a horrible Mammy... sometimes you need to put yourself first as there’s only so much you can give from an empty cup!

From the mammy hiding in the toilet to get 5 minutes peace

A friend loaned me his $1 million vacation house in the mountains, where its a cool 20C.

This place is absolutely massive but the decoration is unbelievably weird, the master bedroom is kitted out in red with disco lights, no wonder the guy has 5 kids :)

It also has it's own swimming pool, with a mountain rock formation waterfall.

Driving another 250 kms inland tomorrow.

First you get the prescription, then you get the augmentin, then you get the power.

I always just thought of you as a friendly acquaintance, and now you go and drop the F-bomb. This is getting a bit awkward....

Fingers crossed. Hopefully he doesn't speak gobbledegook as some consultants are known to employ to fob people off.

Head feels like it's going to explode.. searching the house for a hot water bottle... .
my nurse for the evening is in the top bunk and she's just shouted that she'll climb in and keep .me warm... that would be lovely except for the fact every joint in my body hurts...and she practices her kickboxing when she sleeps..

On the couch beside (in front of ) the fire. All the babies in bed and after the night time call, the boy is doing his nightly puck playing in his bed. He's a night owl. Goes to sleep around 11:30pm but doesn't wake up til 10:30am.. I hope he keeps it up at weekends when he gets home..

My eldest girl is 19 tomorrow :O holy fcuk. (must buy card )
