Just to make the Niasse news even more painful for those who did the early transfer...Abraham will apparently be fit for the weekend.

It's so hard to know. Salah has to stop scoring at the rate he is at some point....... doesn't he?

Analytics (if that's your thing) say he's performing unbelievably well but his goals/assists are in line with what's expected of him.

No reason to believe he'll drop off anytime soon.

If he keeps going at this rate he'll end the season with 28 goals and a heap of assists. Top scoring non striker in premier league history in a season....

If that's whats expected of him....

I’m going to stick with my gut /stupidity and get mane in 2 weeks as long as he stays fit

Quick question, if Niasse doesn't bother lodging an appeal, can I submit one on his behalf?

Looks like you wont have to. Everton are going to contest it.

Considering Stones to Mee, will give me an extra predicted 20-40 pts over the next 5 GWs, as per FFFix.

Predicted to rise tonight, but still only at 97.6%.

Might try and hold for another day or two till after the CL games.

Mane seems to be very injury prone this year. For that reason alone you should pick Salah.

I think mane is going to be amazing if he comes back fit.

2 assists his first game back. He'll surely drive on if he comes through tonight unscathed

    Jones out
    Sterling out

    That takes me to -8

Who to get for Jones now... Have Mee, Naughton, Daniels, Duffy already. Don't know whether to go for another cheapie or upgrade to City/Chelsea.

Similar here, would be very tempted by Christensen, but not convinced if he'll keep his place and don't want to end up having to making another transfer to take him out in a week or two. Any Chelsea fans think he will hold on to a starting place?
Not sure I can stretch as far as Alonso or Azpi, might just bring in Otamendi

Gomez or moreno for pool might be ok. Defence is improving a lot.

Might do Sterling to Pogba and Jones to a city defender.

The Jones news has forced my hand to do
    Jones --> marriapa
    Foster --> DDG

Happy enough to leave DDG there for the season now I'd say

    sterling to sane

My defence: Daniels Moreno Jones Mbemba David Luiz.

Haven't made any transfers but looks like I need to sort that lot out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,066 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

Dilva who I have or sane? Have exactly the right amount for a straight swap and no other transfers needed this week. Might move Lukaku on after this week and bring in Vardy who has decent fixtures. Ibra will surely start affecting Lukaku minutes soon.

Jones news has me puzzled, probably a few more on here likewise.

Already done two transfers for -4, would rather not take another hit.

Have Naughton to come in for Jones this weekend in the hope of getting a cleanie. Or is it worth transferring Jones out for someone similar priced. Jones infrom the start so wouldn’t like to lose any money on him

Already have Otamendi, Lowton & the mighty Hunemeier..

Ya looking at Otamendi too, would only cost me 0.6 to upgrade so it's not too bad.

Ditch Hunemeier first if you can.

Getting rid of 3 non starters to 3 starters and currently high scoring players.

Leaves with only Kane upfront premium wise (Wilson and Murray)

    Silva Coutinho hazard pogba midfield

And probably too much in defence

    Walker Alonso jones Gomez mee

Thinking Aguero > Abraham/Wilson and Obiang > Pogba.

Not sure who is the best cheap option. Wilson after his hat-trick looks the obvious one and they have great fixtures. But I would be worried about him keeping his place. I'll be moving to a strong front 8, so perhaps not so big a problem!

Sticking with Jones this week. Calling Jose's bluff. I have four other playing defenders anyway.

I’m sick of calling Jose’s bluff with jones
And it’s onky going to get worse with more games and rojo and Bailly back

So I've to get Luiz out and am using that money to finally get rid of richie
    Luiz -> Mee/Moreno/Simpson
    Richie - > Pogba

Is it worth a -4 for getting Jesus in for Aguero for one gameweek.
Monday I'll be moving him on again to afford Hazard in midfield for another -4

While pattern wise it would make sense that Jesus plays the weekend are we really certain of this?

When I offload Aguero this week, or another, then that will be me wiping my hands of the two of them.

If I was taking a hit for a one week gamble, I would want to be very certain they would be starting.

My thinking is that I dont want another GW where Aguero is warming my bench. If I get someone in who gets more than 5 then I'm probably in profit. Could bring in Jesus and captain him

Is Jesus not surely sure of starting?

The downside is massive though... what if Aguero starts and goes nuts only for Jesus to come on for a 1 point cameo.

Neither Jesus or Aguero are good captain choices these days imo.

In theory the pattern is he will play. He seems to play away games with Aguero playing homes. Also Aguero playing midweek. Like I say in theory Jesus plays but nobody can be certain.

    No. No he is not...

If you are definitely set on bringing in a FW Lukaku/Kane/Morata all safer options

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,788 ✭✭✭Benimar

    Currently have:

    DDG, Elliott
Jones(inj), Davies (rotation), Naughton (Swansea!), Ward (v Arsenal), Duffy (at Man U)
Salah, Silva, Brady (muck), Ritchie (muck), RLC (surprisingly ok)
Kane, Vardy (not scoring), Aguero (expensive likely non-starter)

1FT and WC long gone. The only question this week is the size of the hit!

Jones has to go as I need a starting defender this week, i don't fancy playing Duffy. Aguero is out too, but I think its a week too early for Morata, but might have to do it anyway.

I probably should replace Davies, but might risk Ward. One of Brady/Ritchie needs to be upgraded, and Vardy probably survives due to other concerns.

Oh, I also want to try get Sane into my team :pac:

Play Gross at Old Trafford or do Tom Carroll to Pogba for -4? Tempted to take the hit, can't see Brighton doing much and Pogba could easily wipe out that hit. I'd like to get him in before the inevitable rises too.

I'd just move aguero to a striker you want to keep.
