    I'm just here to fight

    balls

He contradicts himself quite a bit. He talks about revenue streams and the different ways he can market himself and then he maintains it's all about fighting for him.

Hes right though it was something said in jest , I think alot of people do it in anger but the media will latch on to anything offensive these days and make a big deal of it , not saying it wasn't wrong but you have to be more careful with your wording

I think he was sincere, but he still seems to lack awareness about why people might be offended.

But, sure, he's a sportsman not a politican.

What about a rematch with Joseph Duffy, afaik he took him down as well!

You hang around with the wrong men then!

I think most modern men have no problem conveying emotion about their kids.

Ah I mean on national telly. I mean stopping to point how much he loves his kid.

I've never seen it on national TV tbh

The most polished i've seen McGregor tonight.

You have to hand it to him how he's developed his career.

Well depends there's the man bag brigade and the macho brigade and TBH gushing about their kids in public is not common. Privately yes but publicly .... nope.

    it's extremely common

I was referring to his ‘poor me’ attitude. When you are in the public eye you need to be careful about comments you make and how they might be perceived.

Joe needs to get a bit of momentum going and id give him a chance. Mcgregor is surely so distracted now that he is vulnerable.

Hope he's not expecting that cash before Christmas.

    In fairness.

Ryan did well for once . In an area he isn't strong.

made right call and let him flow.

    Ryan watch back.

Graphic Operator on tonight's show was Zac Sloper.

    Great name.

I'm just going out to slope a few Zacs.

    Whoy?

Because you only have to watch Primetime's programme 'Nightmare to let' and then do a bit of googling.

He has done more than most people to sell the UFC, so saying he is just here to fight is disingenuous. Every celeb blames the media and calls them haters when they publish something bad about themselves. Tubs raves on about twitter all the time but left after criticism

yeah but just think about the level of training for one second there...it is pretty much all about the fighting...it's bonus he's a marketing genius

Ha, yeah, actually, I bravely put some chopped habanero in at the start once, ended up coughing my ass off before I got the other crap in.

A worthwhile experience mind. Put chopped onions in their place as the most irritating ingredient for once.

What I usually do, when I'm making a curry, is throw in a teaspoon or two of mustard seeds when the oil is heating up. Once they start to pop, put in the chopped onions. When they're sizzling add chopped ginger, garlic and chillies. Turn the heat down and let that cook away for about half an hour. Substitute that for "Fry onions for five minutes till golden brown" in any recipe and you won't go wrong.

I'm not going to comment on the Halawa case, because I don't know what the truth is.

But it makes me laugh that the RTE news says "Ibrahim Halawa has said he has never been a member of the Muslim brotherhood" after his Late Late interview.

So, CIA, MI5/6, if you're listening...If there's anyone you suspect may be involved with terrorism, just get my man Ryan Tubridy to ask them. Then we'll know for sure.

You should be a tv chef. I'm gonna do that.

In defence of Ibby, you could see how he thought he was in Ibiza as he addressed the crowd from the stage
