Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Roads very icy here where they were untreated this morning and all roofs white. Grass temps dipped to -3.2c with air temps dipping to -0.2c despite a persistent overnight breeze of 5mph or more with gusts regularly exceeding 10mph.

    Good sunny spells since daybreak with temperatures climbing slowly to hover around 5c at present. Breeze has increased to 10mph steady with gusting slightly over 20mph now.

    Frost has thawed in most places.

    Frosty morning here near Tralee needing warm water on the car to get the ice off the windows. Roads were ok but on a few dips could see puddles of water frozen over.

    After a bright start picked up a couple of showers before brightening up again. Fine since mid morning. Cooling down now again to 3.3C.

    No snow at Grange today but I recorded 4 more hours of sunshine which makes my November 2017 sunshine total end up at 102 hours, my second sunniest November on record, only 6 hours behind 2016.

    -2 here in South County Dublin.
    The SKY is clear (even with the level of light pollution you can clearly see the night sky full of stars).

    A lot of frost on the grass in the garden and on the garden pavement.
    No breeze to speak of.

    There were a couple of rain showers earlier in the evening, so it feels very damp and very cold, compared to last night 29/11/2017 when it was just cold (no damp).
