It's 24 degrees in the evenings in kuwait and we're all cold. It has started raining now too. The jackets and trousers are out in the evenings.

I move back to Ireland next Monday and I'm going to die a death from the cold!

Extraordinarily mild last few days in Cork - lovely for getting out in... but the atmosphere is getting a good wringing now, bucketing for most of the last two hours. Feels chillier too.

Walking many miles around my home city yesterday. Puddles solid frozen all day long. Very chilly, but nice and quiet day.

Now, packing up and on my way to airport, back to miserable reality. ;)

Still bucketing down in Cork and some really strong winds. I’d say driving conditions will be fairly cr@p this morning.
