    Cahill out! :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

    Lacazette out, to Aguero, Jesus, Morata, Bob the Builder, Imelda May, or even an inanimate carbon rod.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,469 ✭✭✭Shedite27

    Losing patience with Jesus contrary to my previous commenst about keeping 1 City attacker and just sticking with him.

    Not sure how much longer I can ignore Sane.

    And how the f*ck do I still have Chicarito and Alonso

    Maguire or Kane out, depending on Kane's fitness.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,336 ✭✭✭✭km79

    If Kane is fit I might bank
    Free hit has helped me dodge a few bullets tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,694 ✭✭✭✭siblers

    D.Silva to Sane, need to sell Jesus too, not sure who to though. Morata and Lacazete aren't inspiring confidence, doubt I can afford Aguero

    No International break until Gameweek 11 has finished.

    Not happy with my team

    Fabianski Elliott
    Trippier Bavies Mee Jones Mbemba
    Eriksen Salah KDB Dilva Fabregas
    Vardy Jesus Quaner

    Might be the end of the line for Trippier/Bavies could just as easily be Aurier + Rose in any given game. Will probably look to offload KDB too he's doing ok but not enough for 10m. Up front I need a big hitter I can captain with confidence. Might bank the transfer but that would leave me captaining Eriksen probably. Two transfers would be handy after the international break - especially if Pogba is back playing

    KDB/Silva -> Sane

    Lacazette to Aguero is going to be my main one.

    Have 0.6m to upgrade Silva if I want. Coutinho jumps out if he's fit but I'm reluctant to get rid of Silva, he has been very close to scoring in recent games. Might hold on and do a double transfer next week and get Salah in as part of that instead.

    The Deli counter has been taken out.
    In Sane as it sounds.

    Jesus to Aguero. Going to keep my eggs in Kun basket then until he gets injured again, no flip/flopping.

    Jesus to a child (-4)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,962 ✭✭✭Hogey007

    I currently have Silva, sterling & Jesus.
    I agree with others that you just pick your city players knowing they might only play 2 out of 3 games but I'd like my 3 to be Silva, sane & aguero.

    I'll hold off til we get news on Kane but if Kane is fit I think I'll do aguero in for Jesus.
    If Kane is out I'll get hazard in for sterling & aguero for Kane for -4.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,218 ✭✭✭Islander13

    Hazard and Sanchez both worth monitoring but don't think this week is the time to get them in. Jose will likely do his man marking Herrera on Hazard that worked well last year in the cup and Sanchez is unlikely to be productive v city, if he plays at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 856 ✭✭✭mectavba

    Jesus looked really poor yesterday, bad enough worrying about him not starting. It looks like him to Aguero will have to be done.

    Thinking longterm so braving a -8

    Vardy to Abraham
    Jesus to Aguero
    Silva to Sane.

    Silva has been assisting the assister for last few weeks so hoping Sane keeps up his recent form.

    Vardy gets a stay of execution after today so might bank.

    Aguero to Kane if he's fit,

    Think you need to check Silvas scores. This past few gameweeks tbh.

    So thanks to the Free Hit I now have Aaron f**king Mooy back in the team, transfer got reversed...

    Need to dump Chicharito this weekend so Mooy Out will probabaly have to wait. What a thunderc*nt

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,336 ✭✭✭✭km79

    With uniteds 2 fixtures after the int break so good I may just keep miki at this point and take the inevitable drop
    Will prob bench him this week too !

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 650 ✭✭✭PVA

    I wouldn't have Mkhitaryan back in my team regardless of fixtures. Too many better options in midfield

    Reckon I'll be dumping Jesus this week along with Chicharito, bringing in Vardy and Abraham. Leaves me £3.3m in the bank which would be used to upgrade Mooy to Sane next week. Would be happy enough with the attack then, next few transfers would be focused on fixing my awful defence. Would get rid of all 5 if I could...

    De Gea (Elliott)
    Davies -- Cedric -- Lowe (Hegazi, Mbemba)
    Eriksen -- Salah -- Sane -- Sterling (TPT)
    Kane (c) -- Vardy -- Abraham

    All depends on Captain Kane being fit for Sunday though! Will throw a massive spanner in the works if he's out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,336 ✭✭✭✭km79

    Oh hold on .............just remember I know longer have otamendi so now have my 3rd city slot back ..........this could allow miki to sane ..........would be for a hit though along with Ritchie to grobb who doesn't have a great fixture

    No won't have enough for that either
    More thinking to do

    Thinking Sane/Firmino in for Lukaku/Carroll for -4, gives a front 8 of
    Dilva,Gross,Sane,Hazard,Richarlison
    Firmino,Kun,Vardy
    This might get around Peps rotation risks.

    I like this apart from one thing, the lack of Harry Kane will kill you eventually!

    Clark out for mee or gomez I think. Mee would be the smarter move but he is close to a drop and gomez is close a price rise

    Looking to downgrade Kolasinac to free up funds to do Jesus > Aguero. Thinking of bringing in Charlie Daniels. Bournemouth have had a terrible run, but they seem to have been performing better than their results suggest. At 4.9 he could be a bargain.

    Leave it until Friday as he’ll hopefully drop before then to 4.8m

    Same goes for the rest of you !

    I've had him since gw5 for this run !
    He better deliver
    Although he did autosub in one week with an assist and two bonus !

    Also looking at making longterm changes after my 4 man midfield delivered one assist this week.

    Jesus - Vardy
    Brady - Salah
    Ali - KdeB

    Will hold off till after champions league.

    Aguero is gone...

    I can't handle this rotation nonsense

    Thinking of Cahill out - Phil Jones in

    What's this "thinking longterm" thing that people are talking about? Is it just flagging that it's not a punt?

    I get the idea of a 1/2 week punt, or someone covering an injury being "shortterm" moves, but moving out players who start to other players who start isn't "thinking longterm", it's just a -8 hit.

    IMO, if you're really "looking longterm" you'll make the changes over 2/3 weeks to minimize the hits.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,511 ✭✭✭✭PARlance

    Lacazette to Aguero.

    Love me longterm.

    It's making a sacrifice this week in taking the hit rather than persisting with players I don't want for annother few weeks, just to save a few hits.

    Holding off till Friday to get a better idea about Kane but looking at either

    Firmino --> Kane
    Sanchez --> salah
    Arnie --> Richarlison

    Or

    Sanchez --> salah
    Arnie --> eriksen
