Portion and serving, both are parsimonious words that always means not enough. As in One Portion or Serves One, which is short hand for you need two if you want a decent meal.

I hate the word gee ... you?

With or without a bit of hair?

Years ago in England I was at a BBQ and the fella serving the 'baps' looked directly at me & asked me if I'd like some gee on it? I hesitated and asked "you what"? he asked again, do you want some gee?

To cut a long & very funny story short, he was referring to 'Ghee' which is an Indian butter they spread on their baps/bread.

    I kid you not :)

    Utilise. What's wrong with use?

Nothing. But they are 2 different meaning words!

It is an irritating term though and misused (misutilised !! :D ) more often than not

The irony here is that you usually have to use the word you hate to tell people you hate the word.

The C Word, it is possibly one of the worst insults you can cast on someone, especially if it is said with any sort of anger. Unfortunately it is so commonly used, it does slip into the conversation.

    :(

I never understood why people are so offended by c*nt tbh.

Hubby and wifey piss me off to no end, although they're not really formal words. Tummy would be another, a child might get a pass on that one though.
