    "touch-base"

***Ice-cream-coiffed suit-type: "So we'll touch-base on that project later in the week, roysh?"

You: "Nah, f**k you, youre the type of person that doesn't know what theyre talking about at all, and you want someone else to do your work so as you can present it to someone else and look good, get a bonus and then buy some more beard-gel for the ratty fuzz meticulously maintained on your hipster face"......or in reality, "yeah, sure thing, roysh"

***Not a case from my own life

I don't like Indeed. For some reason I often hear and read it in a condescending tone.

Portion and serving, both are parsimonious words that always means not enough. As in One Portion or Serves One, which is short hand for you need two if you want a decent meal.

I hate the word gee ... you?

With or without a bit of hair?

Years ago in England I was at a BBQ and the fella serving the 'baps' looked directly at me & asked me if I'd like some gee on it? I hesitated and asked "you what"? he asked again, do you want some gee?

To cut a long & very funny story short, he was referring to 'Ghee' which is an Indian butter they spread on their baps/bread.

    I kid you not :)

Nothing. But they are 2 different meaning words!

It is an irritating term though and misused (misutilised !! :D ) more often than not

The irony here is that you usually have to use the word you hate to tell people you hate the word.
