Is everything as I see it the same for everybody? Is there a reality at all, or is everything just in my imagination and perception only?

I woke up this morning and it seems my life up to this point has just been a dream.

If a man tells a joke in a forest and no one is around to hear, will the feminists still be offended?

    Hahahahahahah

Sounds like something Noam Chomsky would say.

    You speak into a telephone.

Your voice travels down electric wires.

Your voice is perfectly reassembled at the other end.

    I can't fathom the science

Thoughts are a very weird thing. One of the most powerful things anyone ever said to me was:

"Always remember- your thoughts are not reality. Reality is Reality".

Why is blue blue? Why is orange orange? And is my blue the same as your blue, your orange, or something completely different?

    Light scattering!

It's perfectly simply really, sound is an analogue wave - a reverberation in the air if you will, the characteristics of that wave is coded into another type of data - a digital sequence - sent by positive feelings to the telephone where the Bird of Paradise who oversees the spiritual realm of communication, rides the moon chariot across the heavens, to he who is appointed by Hermes to the reassembly device. No mystery about it, and the voice is heard on the other phone.

I was doing the dishes this afternoon and I thought, what if I am completely different person than I think I am, and I think that only because I am off the other myself's head for a bit? Scary.

It's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve

Other fictional characters have changed sex so why not?

Chuang Tzu in dream became a butterfly,
And the butterfly became Chuang Tzu at waking.
Which was the real — the butterfly or the man?
Who can tell the end of the endless changes of things?
The water that flows into the depth of the distant sea
Returns anon to the shallows of a transparent stream.
The man, raising melons outside the green gate of the city,
Was once the Prince of the East Hill.
So must rank and riches vanish.
You know it, still you toil and toil — what for?

    — Li Po.

Can anyone hear my inner thoughts?

The only voice in my head is my own voice.. should i be envious that 'other' people hear more than one voice?

Who discovered that coal could burn? Same with turf. Did they keep throwing rocks and mud onto a fire till one worked?
