Are you going to try and get them to apply it to the already discounted item?

Item I was after is out of stock now, so I wont be trying it any time soon

According to random poster on HUKD, there is no expiry on the vouchers anyway:
So got off the phone with an adviser and told me that you call tele sales and quote the order number that has been cancelled for 20% off and i asked if i could order in December and replied yes there is no expiry date. Who knows maybe they will do black Friday or wait for new models i guess

the "apology" clearly states 20% of your next online order. This nonsense effectively cancels out the savings. I'm not sure that it is intended though, as I had a similar issue when originally trying to apply a 5% discount to the original bargain "alert" - and it did the same thing.

A phonecall should sort this out. Anyone purchasing at moment please try this.

Are there any stats on the kind of numbers generated by an item appearing on HUKD? It must be a nightmare for a company when there's a misprice/great bargain with limited stock and it's pounced on by everyone.

Its enough to drive some small companies out of business anyway. When Civilization 5 was released a small digital game key seller called Games Republic sold it for £18 while it was still going for £60 on Steam which was a pricing error on their part. Since the way these work is automated/instant delivery, they were paying full wholesale price for the keys. So many people jumped on the HUKD deal meaning they lost a pile of money and closed down. All the internet armchair lawyers got all huffy about it too so they ended up not being able to cancel/refund them all.

Anybody use the code yet? Tempted by the ideacentre for 999 with an i5-6500 and 1070, 799 with the discount. Any monitor recommendations if I decide to pull the trigger?
