30:25, and 30:24. Christ, ironically it would have been less embarrassing for him had it been stopped, as it should have been.

One ref had it 29-27. He/she should be fired

This makes me sad and angry at the same time. Awful to see a guy get battered

Yep, that Kyle Cardinal fella thought he was in the Thunderdome.

It's actually a decent enough card. It would have been a very good card had the Ngannou fight and DJ fight not fallen through

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Most underrated thing about PPV's - no need for filler in between fights. It's straight on to the next fight almost immediately.

The breaks to keep to the schedule for FOX and Fight Pass are a killer at this time.

Sooner it hits 3am, the better.

I agree about Ngannou but DJ is no loss. Not really interested in his fights

Some arms on Sarah McMann there.

Some night for upsets in the betting, I think Alex White was the only fav who has won so far from 6 fights.

edit: Nope, Arjan Bhullar was fav as well.

There's some weird pricing from what I can see.

I mean, he may not win but how is Jeremy Stephens v Gilbert Melendez an even money fight? Melendez is going to be massively depleted at 145lbs and is a shot fighter IMO on a streak of losses and inactivity, I could easily see Stephens walking through him. Neil Magny is a ridiculously long price relative to his chances too.

Also, what's up with the Main Event? Did people miss the part where Amanda Nunes obliterated Miesha and Ronda and pretty convincingly beat Valentina the last time? I can see why people are giving Valentina a solid chance (and I want her to win) but it's baffling how Amanda is the underdog.

As I said, it's fighting so anything can happen but if I had any money I'd definitely be putting it on Stephens & Magny to finish their opponents.

    His leg is completely gone

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭tinpib

Jeremy needs to just focus on the leg, obvious I know, he badly needs a win.

Still can't believe Stephens was a slight underdog. Crazy. Was confident he'd destroy him. Melendez really needs to call it a day. 0-4 in his last 4 fights, only one win in 6 UFC fights. He's done.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,407 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Yeah I agree, Melendez should retire.

Stephens power is way overrated though. Couldn't get the finish against a one legged man.

    Come on Latifi!

He won me over by waving a hurley at UFC Dublin!!!

    :pac:

Up for Tyson here myself. Looking forward to this one.

Another Hypetrain derailed, although the prices there were a lot closer. 2.1 to 1.66 for Pedro.

Pedro just needs to get a bit more rounded. Takedown defence obviously.

I really like Latifi. He is a very solid fighter

Henry has been busy watching Conor videos :pac:

Interesting stuff to be fair to see him employ that wide, bladed stance and lead-hand fighting.

Cejudo looked great there! Reis doesn't seem to have much but Cejudo got the nice finish anyway.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,407 ✭✭✭The White Feather

I like Magny in this one!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,407 ✭✭✭The White Feather
