People are very complacent when I comes to hailstones, cars were sliding all over the place and people were still driving over 100kmh on the Motorway this morning.

A lot of spot flooding around this evening.

Thunder and lightning currently in West Clare, some hail accumulations also.

Flash of lightning, lights went out and crack of thunder within a second or so there southwest of Galway. There was a flicker a few hours ago, but it was a long way off then.

Bad hail coming out from Galway a couple of hours ago though.

Lightning very close by, nice long rumble followed by driving hailstones.

There was a clap of thunder here yesterday afternoon that was so loud that it shook the house. Almost jumped out of my skin.

Some big house rattling thunder and lightning here near Tralee at around 04.00. Heavy showers of hail and rain throughout the day mixed with nice sunshine.

Potential for thunderstorms popping up from early morning through tomorrow, looks like along the Atlantic Seaboard and possibly spreading inland as the air mass changes to polar.

Good Cape values and and decent DLS with the passage of an upper trough with very cold uppers giving good lapse rates. Should be impressive cloudscapes with the chance of hail.

Plenty of sferics showing up today and no end of hail showers. During the early hours had some big convective gusts in squally hail/ rain showers getting up to near 70 km/h here near Tralee.

Potential Squall line developing along the front of that band of rain coming in from the west...

That area of lightning wont reach land. Its a very active front approaching the West Coast so i would expect sporadic sferics.
