Prob break even or small loss to level stakes today .. onwards and upwards.

    Tomorrow ... Early bird

    14:10 Tobefair 67.0 Bet365

As I not a big fan of betting too far in advance, this one comes with a health warning for your betting account. Should he win then its bye bye account if you got anymore than £2 ew on him.

Why's that. What do the betting companies think this achieves? Is it wise to have multiple betting a/cs and putting on multiple bets rather than one big bet?

You bet your ass it is in the bookies favor to limit or ban you if they think you getting the drop on them. Who can blame them. They have a business to run and need to make profit.

So if you do this as anything more than a hobby then to get decent money on ye need to get friends involved who will help you.

Some man Mayoman. Went each way and had 70/1 on Betdaq for the win! So close but fantastic shout. Few quid won on the place

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,386 ✭✭✭mayoman1973

Asked 365 if they would pay out as winner since he came so close but they declined :(

Anyways, poor pickings today but this is the best of whats left

wouldnt reccomend doing any of these on the nose .... the value is in the place. Win only will at best make you maybe 1 or 2% profit, place makes 35 - 40%. So cause you gotta take the fleas with the dog and have to take the win along with the place in an e/w bet over all the % profit should be about 15-20%, but all that juice comes from the place

Paddy and Willy not coming out to play at all during cheltenham :( Rem 365 are paying 1/4 odds for place, this is the difference between being paid at near 18/1 vs Paddy who might only pay at 13/1

Just curious, but how much would you put on?

It's been a good week for the bookies , I can see how they justify 160k for a pitch for the festival.

A 67.0 to me is like the pizza delivery boy and the food. Doesnt matter how much you like or want it you shouldnt take it. But sometimes I cant help myself :(

How much ££ is all relative to your circumstances. Certainly no more than you can afford to lose. I started off with maybe 50p a pop. If you havnt the patience to build up a decent betting bank starting with 50p stakes then this game is not for you, certainly not from a money making perspective
