    Have had up to 9 horses in a field of 12 at times ... And still didnt get the winner.  But these are value bets and the value is in the place. So all bets are each way.  On the extreme end of things had 22 nags backed in last years grand national :)

    the thing that lot of punters cant grasp is backing a certain horse at a certain price and also at a certain time.  MyLovleyHorse might be a value bet at 34.0 at 12pm in the day.  He may go out in price say to 41.0 at 3pm for a 5pm race but he is no longer value even at that new price. So these tips have a half life of about 20 min. No point in lookiing at them 3 hrs after they posted and seeing price is still available.  Its no longer a value bet.  However according to my stats these tips beat the starting price around 70% of the time.  Beating the BFSP is key and is also what marks you out in the bookies eyes unfortunately
