Aren't you lucky you are a girl MsWesterosi...urinals!! I went to boarding school and the older lads in 5th and 6th year used hang around the juvenile toilets pusing us into the urinals as we went...then pulling us back and we did it on ourselves.

I can't go in a urinal since. If i got those gurriers now i'd bate 7 shades out of them:mad:

Anyway i hope Charlotte's experience isn't as bad.
My brother had similar toilet bullying problems at school, and to this day (he's in his 30's now) he won't use a urinal, he goes into the cublicle instead.

Sorry for straying off topic, BTW, I'm dreading a year or more of Kerri-Ann/Mondo/Decco ''who's the daddy'' crap....

I'm on poor Saorsie's side. The poor child must be over a year old now and no one has seemed to notice that she hasn't really developed or grown at all.... She's still being carted around in that pram like a newborn. :P

Surely, Caoimhe would know that if she refuses to let the baby stay with Damien on Christmas day, he is going to react badly. She doesn't have any sensitivity in her for an aspiring doctor.

Sorry to hear that. He must have suffered a lot as a child. Sadly, children can be very cruel to other children.

No child should have to experience that kind of behaviour.

Yes Kerri Ann. And she's so ditzy and silly.. all her mood swings. As long as there's something decent, story wise, running concurrently.

That's true - the whole storyline has gone OTT. Damian and Caoimhe seemed pretty rock solid as a couple, especially after going through the trauma of losing their first baby, and I remember when Neasa returned on her flying visit from living the high life in America that she basically told Caomihe that she had gotten boring - a complete switch of personalities, as Caomihe was always the wild one and Neasa more sensible. They - Caoimhe and Damian, that is, were getting on grand, until that cop, Alannah showed up and started bringing Caoimhe on girls' nights out, and she seemed to forget she had a baby at home - at that stage, Damian was his usual plodding, reasonable, but gently chiding self, whilst Caoimhe was reverting to the Caoimhe of old (at that stage I was team Damo, I hate him now :P In fact, I hate both of them) then it was as if both of them had a personality overhall from nowhere. Damian - I know he's never been the most ambitious person - but seemed to get set even more in his ways, and suddenly Caoimhe who had been happily chopping tomatos away at Vinos for God knows how long, decided she wanted more from life and opted to go back to medical school - cop Alannah had vanished at that stage - then Damian started to get all cave man like, when they could have worked out a sensible compromise and he should have been more supportive, instead he bit***d more than Pete does, when he should have said, ''ah, sure we'll work something out.'' After that their relationship broke down and the whole thing is now a complete farce, and he seems as though he's going the way of his abusive father - abusive younger brother isn't helping either.... The whole break-up made no sense to me, as in real life, most stable, happy couples would have worked out something like an 'I'm going back to study'' challenge

True, but sadly, it still goes on in schools. :(

I loathe Kerri-Ann with a passion, and Mondo is the biggest sap on the planet. I've just figured the reason why no one who watches (apart from one friend who actually enjoys it as a soap should be enjoyed) it and does the whole name splicing ''shipping'' couples thing - it's because there isn't one decent couple, or potential couple, in the whole thing to root for - except maybe Robbie and Aoife. :D

True, but id say shes thinking long term as well, she doesn't even want the possibility of Oakley looking into that and raking it all up for the whole family, potentially ruining Kerri Ann and Deccos relationship. Its interesting to see how submissive she has become though, I really though she would tell Masnon to fcuk off after lastnight.

I can't imagine that Charlotte is worried about Kerri Ann and Decco's relationship. She's never been known for her caring personality. I can't believe she's just doing what she's told. He has no proof of anything. It's totally out of character... but we're used to stuff like that I suppose.

I agree with you about it being odd that she is just following orders from Manson however I do believe she has a deep seated fear of the whole killing her father event coming out and that is influencing how she acts. She is scared of Ooakley, he already mentioned her cancer so in her mind hes good at digging up dirt. That's whats behind her submissive behaviour.

Does anyone else find it a tad disturbing when Oakley is leaning over Charlotte bullying her, its very sinister!

No neck Damo To lose his rag on xmas day "You're not taking my daughter anywhere! ya wannabe Germen Doctor!" the ram comes out of nowhere then, "That's enough now no neck, she's coming to Kilkenny with us to see aunt Kitty and that's it" cue Damo then losing his rag and making that sarcastic angry face he makes when he gets angry "Watcha call me Tommy? right outside now" Cue the lads taking off there shirts (bit of eye candy for the ladies ;) ) and having a massive brawl on the street.

I think Rachel (Helen's child) arrived before Oisin. (I always thought Helen was a lovely character and I don't think Fair City was the same when she left it. Hannah Finnegan (r.i.p) and all those real Dubs brought something special to the show).

The relationship between Caoimhe and Damien makes no sense at all.
Damien has always been the way he is. She knew that from day 1. Ridiculous plot and Caoimhe is unbearable now. Damien is turning into his horrible father. Poor Saoirse. This couple lost a baby before Saoirse was born so Caoimhe should have extra sensitivity towards Damien. They share that bond.

Paul was married to Nicola and while she was pregnant with Oisin, he had a fling with Helen which resulted in her getting pregnant with Rachel.

Then when Yvonne was pregnant no-one knew who the Daddy was until she was marrying Connie and it came out that it was Paul.

There was also the Christy - Louis - Carol and baby Jack's paternity..

Then there was Harry - Dolores - Frank and baby Jessica's paternity.

Wasn't there some ambiguity over the paternity of Shannon Dowling as well? Was Dean her half brother or her Daddy?

From memory, the FIRST who's the Daddy storyline involved Barry O'Hanlon and his then wife Linda and the bould Bela Doyle. The baby - Alice - later died.

Paul had a rival in the "most fertile man in Ireland" stakes when Brendan Daly got his wife (Heather) and his secretary (Deirdre) pregnant at same time with Eleanor and Ben respectively.

I'm sure there's been another few...

It’s wasnt just the study thing, She couldn’t get away from that baby quick enough, cut her maternity short to go back to work and it’s not like she did it cause they needed the money. She’s absolute pain and doesn’t know what she wants, I pity any man she gets with.

I wonder if there are some union restrictions at RTE or something that prevent them making an extra episode? All of the English soaps lay on extra episodes at Christmas and have done for years. It cannot be the cost for RTE, the extra episode would only be a tiny fraction of their yearly budget.

Emmerdale, Coronation Street & Emmerdale always give us fans extra episodes and Hour long episodes our the Christmas season

Fair city fans get nothing I know the soap is crap but it’s a good kind of crap lol and plus thread is golden lol

I wonder did RTE lose their balls a few months ago when it really looked like Manson was gathering a devoted cult and it could have potentially gone down the road of suicide or sacrifice. Would that be too much for the delicate audience? Shame because it really does have potential but I'm getting the feeling the whole Hannah and Oakley plot is a red herring and they don't actually know where to go with it.

If it doesn't start to heat up and get actually DANGEROUS in the New Year then its all been for nothing. Heres hoping...

I think they've bottled it Wanderer tbh. I can't see Miriam/Manson being developed. The Oakley diversion fcuked it up big time. Looks like the concentration will be on him..

It shouldn't be too much for the general public to do a decent cult storyline.

At the moment Manson looks more like Christina Gallagher of the House of Prayer! You can watch below. Basically she has beautiful houses in the UK and here and took loads of donations. Few other ones in it too. Just shows how full of 'cults' Ireland is!
