Carol's some hypocrite, sure it was only about a week ago that she threw herself at Dan.

Not to support Dan - he's clearly an awful person but Carol should be run out of town at the same time.

Carol has reached the end of the road on this show, she really is well well past her sell by date. She has zero redeeming qualities as a character and every story is the same-light a fag, cry about being abused then hit the bottle. All the while expecting every man in her life to listen to her stories and 100% support her, but when THEY need help she laughs at them and storms off.

They have proved they can get rid of dead weight with Niamh, now lets get rid of Carol. Is her dad head of programming or what? How is she still there?

Well said, her character is well past it's sell by date. She behaves like a jealous teenager. The repetition of hard life/smoking/drinking/whinging/lashing out is so boring at this stage. Hopefully she will follow Niamh and give us all a break. Incidentally her Dad passed away years ago, he played Benjy's brother in the Riordans. She appeared in the Riordans as Benjy and Maggie's baby apparently.

I say Niamh asked to leave not the other way around. She’ll walk back in whenever she wants.

The Dan\Aoife rape storyline is moving so rapidly. Compared to the Plan etc. I like the new 'pacing'! At least something is happening.

Now like most posters i'm not a fan of Carol, but at least her character is being used to keep this story moving.
