This guy has some neck. The third pic was taken about 2 weeks after the first two. In fairness, I wouldn't leave a bike in that spot. It would get robbed or driven over. No railings, just a rectangle on the tarmac.

Actual parking spaces too far away (there was about three around fifteen feet away) - no problem, sure just park alongside some bins, with double yellow lines and on a corner so that it's almost impossible for anyone coming from the lane to turn left onto the road.

Almost empty car park, so at least there is plenty of parking space, but a bit mean taking up 4 spots:



Hyundai driver nips into shop, hazards on. The VW shows what space is left for cars coming in and out. Got a few blasts of horns from people trying to swing out from the parking lane to the right. Lidl, Ashbourne.



Main Street, Asbourne = Check.
Block cycle lane and half of main lane, forcing overtaking traffic far into opposite lane = Check.
Opposite a continuous white line = Check.
Rear foglights on = Check.
Aldi car park nearby which wasn't used = Check.
Absolute w**ker = Check

I know the lines are a bit worn, but it's obviously two spots when you're pulling in.

The driver came back with a lovely looking cream cake all for himself. Hope he didn't get any on his dapper 3-piece.
