Its changed direction by the looks of it, no electronic acts announced yet.

Was this not the one that was advertising Annie Mac and others a couple of weeks ago?

Edit:

Pretty sure she is still playing but it's the day before

Are you sure you haven't purchased 2 tickets for Annie Mac on the 28th October.

Although the link has Liam's picture - it directs you to the Annie Mac booking.

Check your confirm email.

To be fair, I can see how you did that.... Kind of misleading by MCD...

I'll ring them tomorrow, not that they will do anything, but can't hurt

To be honest, only for I knew your one's tickets were onsale this evening, I'd have done the exact same thing and bought 2 myself without checking twice. Hopefully they can do something for you.

I see the gig listed on ticket master now and a start time of 7pm.

I am assuming this is for the start of the whole gig and Liam wouldn't be on stage that early surely and the other bands will be playing before he comes on much later in the evening ?

Trying to put my logistics and plans in place when I hopefully get tickets on Friday.
Thanks folks.

I cant imagine Liams set being any different/longer than what he has been doing lately, so this could be right. Half hour Touts, 45 for the Strypes, hour and a bit for Liam?

Anyone have a clue what 4000 square metres would be capacity wise?

Can’t believe I fell for it myself. TM just denied a refund

If I do a chargeback I don’t care if the card is blocked again but I have events coming up, don’t want them impacted

Hmmm....

Saw the lineup on facebook the otherday was really impressed hopefully I can get some mates to come, I like Liam allot but to be honest haven't given his most recent album a proper listen, but did enjoy Beady Eye despite it probably not doing aswell commercially as High Flying birds. But hey that doesn't bother me.

Be awkward, did you take screenshots etc? If so take them to small claims court, they'll pay up in a heartbeat

No screenshot... it was MCD that had the link to the festival on the press release. They updated it last night because when I noticed after I bought the ticket the page refreshed to "under maintenance"

I was under time pressure on the site and my card wouldn't register for ages. I can't believe I didn't see "annie mac" in small text next to the "Samhain Festival" in large writing

Just sell the tickets on adverts or toutless. If you have to take a small haircut on it... so be it. Don't waste your time chasing TM. They're the machine.

New albums not out yet just 2 singles.. and i doubt he will perform any beady eye at his gigs!!

Was there a mention of a ticket limit per transaction for Friday?

8 per person which is ridiculous in my opinion .

65m by 60m so just over half the size of a soccer pitch .
Probably 5-6 thousand I'd guess, something similar to the Marquee in Cork.

Just a heads up, there are still weekend tickets available for €100. Seatwave looking for more than that just for the Sunday/Liam Gallagher.

Anyone see any details on the shuttle buses from the city centre that were mentioned in some of the gig adverts?

Cheers. I saw an advert on Facebook about a company, not Marathon Travel running buses from Swords, Maynoth & Liffey Valley to the festival. I never saved the company name and can't seem to find it now. Would anyone know anything about this company?

This is the company I came across. €13 return from a few different locations.

€13 is a joke. From dundrum/swords maybe but from Liffey valley??

67 bus from Liffey Valley would drop your there for less than 3 euro. 66 would leave you within walking distance too

yep, and those buses go from Westmoreland St. in town for anyone who wants to get out from the city centre for cheap.

It is the journey the other way that is more the issue with it being a Sunday night gig.

What would be the best time to book the George's Quay bus for, if we aren't overly interested in the support acts on Sunday?

• Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,607 ✭✭✭sgarvan

Just looking at the ticketmaster email and it says that the gig is outdoors. I thought it was in the hangar rather than out on the runway or surrounding area, as per MCD website and gig posters.

Ticketmaster
• This is an outdoor event. The festival will take place rain or shine
o Always check the weather forecast before setting off. If there is a chance of rain bring wet weather clothing. Please note that umbrellas are not allowed.
o Due to the time of year it is likely to be cold particularly of an evening. Please wrap up and dress accordingly.

MCD
Samhain Festival returns in 2017 for a massive fancy-dress Halloween celebration in a brand new location. Now held in a 4000m2 hangar in Weston Airport, the first time this unique space has been used for a concert, the event will host an eclectic mix of your favourite artists across both days.

I presume stage times will be announced and you can judge for sure then but I would say Liam will be on between 8:00 & 9:00 given the marathon buses start returning at 10pm
