there's been Upper Circle ones available for the last 15mins.

I'd take them, and offload on Toutless if you get sorted Friday..
    Likely to be heavily oversubscribed...

Thanks they didn't show up when I checked best available. Think I'll wait to try get circle ones €91 is a bit much for 2 upper circle ones.

Just got 2 in the upper circle.
Can't wait to hear Hannah's voice........

It's a gig that would be just as good sitting. Like the new album too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,294 ✭✭✭✭MadYaker

I caught them at Glastonbury on Sunday and they were really excellent. There's a bit more punch to the songs live, the bass is really heavy and Hannah's voice is so powerful in person.

Currently on TM and can't get a standing ticket at all, do have a seated ticket in cart at the moment but don't wanna go for it until clock runs out.
Wouldn't mind seated except I'm probably gonna be going to this by myself, always feels a bit less weird to be alone at a gig if you're standing in the crowd.

edit: Stubbornness paid off, kept refreshing app (while desktop held seated ticket) and eventually got standing. :)

I'm trying to get 2 seated tickets but no joy! Sold out already? trying since 9am.

I got tickets for U2 as late as 10:30 and they were for pitch 2. Obviously there's not as many tickets available but there is a chance if you keep trying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,516 ✭✭✭Wheety

Also another tip, use the app as well as the website.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,404 ✭✭✭✭vicwatson

Peed off big style, none on ticketmaster but plenty on seatwave, ahem

Couldn't get a ticket last time either

Maybe in hindsight best not to go - it will be full of idiots talking through the gig, using it like a night out in the pub. You need to listen to Hannah sing if going. The talkers should stay at home but they won't.

    I'm an eejit

Had my choice of fairly bad seating tickets or standing on Wednesday in the presale. Said I'd wait til Friday to get decent seats. No joy.

She is going to kill me.

So it Seatwave where people have bought tickets and are reselling them or just ones that Ticketmaster are selling themselves for crazy prices?
    Either way it's ridiculous

    Some seating available in Belfast

As of writing 76 tickets on seatwave and nothing on the ticketmaster site, what a bunch of gangsters TM are.

The speed at which tickets appear on Seatwave makes me think it's not possible for someone to buy them and then put them up for resale so quickly. Unless maybe you have a very sophisticated bot?!! :pac:

It's much more likely that Ticketmaster reserve a bunch of them to put up on the site themselves.

They have sold a staggering 44 tickets this morning according to the sales .
I suspect alot of these buyers don't realise that they are buying secondary tickets as Ticketmaster redirect them.
Why else would you buy tickets on there so quickly after the general sale ?

A second date could be added at a later date and I'd say it will judging by how people on Seatwave are trying to sell off the tickets pretty quickly.

What a load of cack there was nothing on TM this morning a bunch of gangsters is right.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 561 ✭✭✭HiGlo

Yeah, I had trouble getting tickets on the laptop this morning. As soon as I was taken to the ticket page and selected standing I was told there was no tickets available.... Kept trying and then switched to best available but still couldn't get anything - just showed Seatwave tickets straight away.... (pure gangsters!)

At the same time, I used the app on my phone and got tickets straight away, no bother.

Picked up standing but probably would have preferred seating. I'll chat to the others...

Probably sold the bulk of the tickets in the presale over the last few days.

4 tickets row A in the circle have been on seatwave since 9am for 150 quid... seems nobody wants them.

buy them in the presale, put them on Seatwave as soon as the general sale happens. there's often tickets on Seatwave even if a gig hasn't sold out.

lots are speculative tickets too that don't actually exist, but if a tout gets someone to buy a ticket from them for 300 quid, all they have to do between then and the gig is find a ticket for less than that to be in profit.

Would there be any point in still checking the TM site for tickets or would that be the end of it now?

It's always worth checking regularly. A good few gigs I've been to have apparently sold out but I then managed to get tickets for later on

I'm trying my best to hold off paying €125 for a standing ticket on seatwave :(

Keep checking T M. It's worked for me countless times. Most recently, for Radiohead:-)

saw them in the academy a few years ago....they were good live, but jaysus, I wouldn't be spending that type of money to see them - their new album isn't a patch on their first album

A guy in work always buys his tickets on the day of the concert as tickets always become available on the day of the concert. Be worth trying tomorrow

Unreal show from start to finish. Great band, really enjoyed the support act. The roar of the crowd after Rooting for You was incredible on the ground floor. Listened to them all week, saw them last night and will be listening to them today.

One of the best I was ever at.

I agree, the lighting was unreal and I thought they were good with the crowd too. I saw them at EP this year and they were very good but think this outdid that show.

Also whoever screamed out Kevin Spacey should be shot.

Because they screamed out or because they specifically screamed 'Kevin Spacey'?

Because they screamed out Kevin Spacey at a time when there are serious complaints about his past, same way as if someone screamed out Harvey Weinstein or Bill Cosby. Not funny and put the band in a awkward position.

Other people were screaming out various other things, have no problem with that, it's a concert and I'm glad people were getting into it.
