Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Poite has been so biased in favour of Lions outside of his blocking move

    Very exciting half of rugby.

Great defending from the end. A few guys are advancing their claims for a test 23 spot.

North has woken up a little. The move to centre has allowed him get his hands on the ball a bit more which suits him. Nowell looking sharp again. Tipuric popping up everywhere and showed some beautiful hands too. I think Best is having a very good game, buried into rucks, slowing ball and being a real nuisance. Lawes and Henderson both showing up well and would rule out both of them being involved in the final two tests at some point.

Biggar is having a good game with some notable errors but that's the story of outhalves on this tour, really. Doing a solid job. Laidlaw is painful, intercept aside.

He won't be in with a sniff of a test 23 spot but Haskell is having a great game. Revelling in the confrontational elements of the game and the battle up front.

12 is where I reckon George North will end up later in his career. Dont remember ever watching him play there, so its interesting to watch.

This is one game were players hope to be hauled off after 50 minutes. Be interesting to see who gets subbed early.

With his concussion history, you think he wants to play inside centre?
He should be at FB, use his pace to cover and attack, fewer tackles!

Tipuric is one of those players you would love on your team but is just not Gatlands style so never going to play in the Tests

His tackling stats are off the chart never seems to miss, a real nuisance at breakdown but its his loose work that is so good, his hands and vision keep moves going that would stop with any other backrow player. I know in Ospreys they say he could easily slot in at centre for matches.

He's the most 'All Black' of the Lions players in his looking for offloads and gaps

Best put in a hell of a first half. The man's a bloody nuisance to the opposition.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,823 ✭✭✭✭First Up

They are getting a bit carried away on Sky. Lions are on top but 14 soft points. If the Hurricanes can get on Poite's right side it could still be interesting.

Beautiful try, he just ran over biggar when he had room to go wide.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Great try, the inside ball proving something the Lions struggle with. Game on now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

Is Biggar concussed? He looked groggy.

    What is he milking exactly?

You could see his head snap back in the tackle. Could be concussed.

He put in a hit on a beast of a 12 and came off second best.
    No shame in that.

    He looked fecked... very groggy

Biggar tried to make the tackle, big contact and went down. He stayed down appearing to be dazed. Hurricanes player runs over him, leans down and shoves him in the chest as he steps over him.

Just a total d*ck move and I'm never going to be a fan of Dan Biggar.

EDIT: Just got a good replay, it wasn't a shove. My bad.

Think he just gave him a manly tap on the chest in a kind of "hard luck mate" type thing.

Kiwis are all about the d1ck moves in order to win the "psychological battle"

Yeah, just caught replay. In real time he leaned down and put the hand in. Looked far more inoccuous on replay.

Biggar always does this anytime he ****s up a tackle
He tried to smash the 12 barely using his hands and got made look like a fool

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

To think NMS and Savea aren't in the current AB squad. They would stroll into any other starting 15 in the world.

Biggar doesn't look like he passed his hia

The guy was stood down with concussion only in the last couple of months. You're being completely over the top.

Rory reminding the ref that the kicking tee is on :)

The bloke has a recent concussion issue and stayed down after a massive collision.

It's infantile stuff attacking him for it.

The ball had to go wide off first phase after the charge down. You could see the Hurricanes defenders screaming for numbers.

    Henderson!

Pointing out a player with a history of faking it most likely is faking it, hardly attacking him
