Fresh tyres can really make a difference on this track, I guess because overtaking is an option

Kvyat gets 10 seconds time penalty in addition to the drive through?

For the benefit of Sky viewers Ben has just pointed out that it's 22 years to the day since the team that is now Force India (Jordan) had their first ever podium in F1 at this very track, and Jean Alesi had his only ever win.

Kimi on a 2 stop strategy ? That's an interesting choice

Sure may as well get Kimi out of the way. :pac:
If Kimi's pitting surely Vettel is too.

Oh sweet Jesus. I still remember that, missed the start of the race because I was off playing football. :pac:

Note how that gets Vettel ahead.

I guess force India will stay out and try and hold of the Ferrari

They'll have to be careful so, Kimi will catch him no bother.

Looks like a 3-4 for Force India unless Kimi can catch up or Seb pits too.

Did anyone think Force India were going to be this good today?

Was wondering if Force India might split the strategy with Checo considering Ocon stayed out so much longer in the first stint.

Shows how amazingly bad the Honda chassis is that Stroll was able to cruise past Vandoorne on the back straight eh?

Jordan's first podium was at the 1994 Pacific GP with Barrichello. Jordan's first double podium was at Montreal 22 years ago with the Peugeot powered Jordan 195.

    I wouldn't rule out Ricciardo

Bit surprised Vettel didn't get some tyres, he doesn't seem to be going anywhere

Vettel is so sure that in 8 laps he's gonna pass the Force Indias, that's confidence for ya :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,956 ✭✭✭Cool_CM

    Move over Perez!!!

Perez out of DRS? Might give Ocon a chance.

That's the worst pit stop I've seen in ages...

Did Ferrari give them their old pit crew too?

  • Registered Users Posts: 30,123 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

Shaping up nicely for the last few laps

    Hopefully
