Any recommendations for a few pairs of shoes. Looking ones for the really dry and sunny days (not too many about), the ones that more or less look like trainers. And then a pair that I could wear most of the year round. I will probably get a waterproof pair later in the year as well and then just rotate between the 3 of them. They obviously have to be comfy and look decent.

Anyway I had thought of Nike Roshe https://www.nike.com/gb/t/roshe-g-golf-shoe-1T2Ltk/CD6065-001

    And Nike Vapor https://www.nike.com/gb/t/react-vapor-2-golf-shoe-5l6KdM

    All recommendations and suggestions welcome.

I have a pair of the vapors and they are very comfortable and offer good stability. The only issue I would have is that the cushion at the Achilles wore away very quickly

Just played 18 holes in FJ X tours, really impressed with comfort and “feel”. Expensive though. Have a pair of sketchers go, comfy but no where near the proper feel/starry when swinging.

I got bought a pair of these off Golfstyle in Galway. Called them last Tuesday morning and had the shoes the following day. €79.99 delivered by courier.

    https://www.adidas.com/us/s2g-golf-shoes/EF0691.html

Haven't played with them yet but have been wearing them around the house the last few days and they feel just like a runner. Very comfortable and light.

Golfstyle don't have a website(facebook only I think) but give them a call and they'll send whatever you want out to you.

Wore them on sunday. Very light and were extremely comfortable for about 9 holes but did then start to cut at the heels. So it'll a few more wears to break them in i'd say.

I just ordered a pair of the Nike Roshe G today, they're doing 30% off at the moment, use code NIKE30. Hopefully they'll work out well for dry days.

Youd probably want ones with a wide toe box so.
Skechers & Ecco have wide styles.

I'd love to try the crocs golf shoes, they weigh nothing so should help sore feet, but not sure how well they would work.

Worth ordering through Parcel Motel / UK address. £56 vs €80 is a big difference.

Ah man wish I'd known, also got a polo that works out €10 cheaper on the uk site . I find nowadays most for most sites UK/IRE price discrepancy is usually about the price of parcel wizard/motel so not worth it. Would've saved about €25 altogether, Nike taking the piss. Oh well live and learn

My last 3 pairs of shoes did just this. Nike, Callaway and addidas. 1 slightly different size to the other two. Same result.

Would love a golf shoe with the comfort of a running shoe.
