    Why so bullish on Everton?
I suppose them 2 for 10M against Rooney 7.5 and a 4.5......so what does the 2M extra do for your?
I'm struggling to see the plan.

Its not that I'm bullish on Everton its more to do with fitting in 6 other attacking players I like aswell as having an Everton striker to start as my 7th attacker . It would give me salah sane hazard richarlison sterling Kane DCL (niasse) . I think the value is in midfield not in strikers this year and I'd like to fit in as many premium mids as I can.

Can you stretch to diouf of stoke? I haven't seen motd yet so not sure where he played but another goal and he's played every game bar 1.
Stoke have decent fixtures for a bit after spurs.

Might tick the boxes for what you need, a cheap 2 pointer that chips in with some goals and assists here and there

Crouchy at 4.8 started again yesterday and assisted - Stoke have couple of decent fixtures coming up too.

I've got Quaner (4.5) of Huddersfield as my third striker and he's actually started the last 2 games but think I'm going to 'upgrade' to Crouch.

To afford Crouch I wouild have to get Zeegelaar from Watford at 4.4 (instead of Kiko Femina) in defence - anyone know if theres a reason/injury why he didn't feature at all for first 11 gameweeks and now has played 4 full games in a row? Is he expected to keep his place now?

Holebas was dropped for him so I'd imagine it depends how he performs if he is to keep his place.

Heads up to folk - if your planning major surgery to your team over the next while - the cup starts in GW17 - so you don't really want to be starting that with a -8 or -12.

I'm going to be trying my hardest not to take any more hits from now until the end of the season anyway.

How do you know when a players value is going to rise or fall 0.1 ??

Fplstatistics.com is your friend. They're not always right but are probably the best of the price tracking sites. Fantasyfootballfix.com is another one that I use myself too the odd time.

Fhfc was stalking him. I think he struggled last year.

He was stalking me, joining every fuppin league I was in. He was shîte last year though, rallied to finish 40k or so. He's 325k at present.

My 3rd striker is killing me! I think I need to move to 3-5-2.

In 15 GWs I played 3 strikers 14 times (the 15th was one of Agueros no-shows) and in those 14 games my cheapest striker has got me a total of 23 points!

TPT has 35 points on his own had I just played him instead every week.

Anyone any views on why Mane was benched at the weekend? Was rested last weekend so he hardly needed another rest?! After Liverpool scoring 5 he may struggle to get back in?

I read somewhere (either Twitter of LFC thread) that his hamstring isn't 100% yet.

Liverpool have a must-not-fcuk-up game as well this week in Champions League so he may have been rested with that in mind

Just seen, transport issues. Right in the middle of the Xmas schedule mayhem too.

Spurs with a very tasty swansea (a) West Ham (h) double to start the new year

Who would you sell to get Hazard?
    Silva or Sané?

I’ll keepkane anyway but sure bavies will probably just play one of them so may move him on in meantime and get someone more likely to play both in

Personally, I'd hold off until he explodes later on in the season, but that's just me.

    Definitely a captain possibility though.

It's a pity this was announced before the mass exodus from him ahead of a nice run ......

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,508 ✭✭✭✭dsmythy

He's had a nice run. Could easily drop and get him back. Lots will do that and still have Kane come the day same as you so you're hoping Spurs wake up in the meantime if not you'll have gained nothing.

Jaysus, 2 games in 3 days. Jan 2nd and Jan 4th. Could it be possible that even Kane is rested?

This is very similar to this time last year actually
Spurs were AWFUL vs united in November
Looked leggy and jaded . I wrote them off completely at that point
Then the blanks in 2 lovely home fixtures before he and they clicked into gear

I’ll hold him and avoid redirecting money elsewhere and then looking for it again
    He will come good
Or I’m fecked .......which I almost am anyway

Same as everyone else. That's why it was done so they didn't have any advantage over other teams.

He had a knock and didn't train on Thursday. Used as an opportunity to rest him, should be back to full fitness now.
