    Got in a nice spot of parkrun tourism in Poolbeg this morning, certainly wasn't the only one there for the marathon weekend. Only a mile or so to walk to the expo from there as well so no parking worries, handy one to know.

    Someone stick me in please. 3:09:13. Went through a bad patch around 19 to 21 miles or so but a pep talk from Megager got me through it. Nice to meet TFB in the park as well. Thrilled to bits. Everything hurts.

    35 minute PB. Ecstatic! Loved that. Last 2 miles were tough into the breeze, but I picked it up again the last 800m. Support was out of this world.
    Didn't make it to McGrattans, but I definitely owe meno a pint.

    3:01:20... delighted, my target was to stay with the 3h pace makers to the Clonskeagh Rd (20m) without stopping but although I slowed up a bit after reaching it I did not capitulate like normally. Pity I was not running under my own name, maybe its cursed.

    Well done all. I came home in 3:08.18. was hoping for 3:15, 3:10 at a stretch. Didn't want to tempt fate by posting here sorry.
