I was over in my parents place for dinner. I decided to go through my old bedroom and bring a box of things home. I spent the evening going through it. Now I feel sad/nostalgic/regretful and sorry that I dredged up those memories in the first place :(

When you make a joke on After Hours and people don't realise it was a joke and give an overly earnest, 'mansplaining' type of response.

The traffic at this time of year. TA'd that it cannot be like this all the time. No schools - no traffic.

Had a half day Monday and was off on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Right before I left on Monday I had a meeting with one of the managers I'm doing a job for. He knew I was leaving straight after and was off for the 2 days.
He has a meeting in for 10 today for a progress update. I've been off since I last saw you!!!!

    TA'd at that manager

€250 of my after tax income for a single visit to a consultant dermatologist, or wait 23 months on the public health system to see one. And €250 is the same price every one so far has quoted. Such glorious, glorious, glorious competition in our hilariously unfree market!

I suppose the government could intervene and stop universities and medical professions putting restrictions on the number of people who can study medicine/enter particular specialisations but that would increase competition and reduce these fees so that won't happen.

Oh, and any chance of the Revenue Commissioners investigating if the correct tax is being applied to all these €250 fees, or have the consultants set up some sort of tax status where they avoid paying it? Some of us remember all those "professionals" in medicine/law/accounting (all self-regulating, unsurprisingly!) who stashed their fees in "non-resident accounts" and the like not so long ago and their theft crimes against the Irish state were written off by one of the many wonderful "tax amnesties" by successive Irish governments. It's not just Judge Martin Nolan who allows dodgy bastards off lightly!

Recruitment agencies contacting me to see if I would be interested in a 3 month contract role.

Mmmm, let me see. I am 10 years and permanent and pensionable and better paid in my current role. But you know that if you had just bothered to read your records correctly. Fecks sake.

Went to Tesco yesterday for bacon bits or rashers would've done too.

Came out with cheese, two things of tortellini and a can of Coke ...

I just remembered that I had a dream that one of my front teeth fell out and I was panicking thinking about how I'd try to cover it up.

My neighbour has three small rat like dogs and my lord, the squeaking and squealing out of them is unreal. Yappy, high pitched, bad tempered little yokes who sound like they are being slowly tortured to death - which is actually what I would quite like to do with them some days.

The noise level in the Toadamoan store in Limerick. They handed me their phone to talk to customer services and left the music blaring. I couldn't hear anything and had to ask them to turn it down. Are they all smoking something funny?

I waited weeks for them to send an unlock code or something and when it came it didn't work.

Bought a chicken and stuffing roll this morning at 8.30 to have for lunch, which I did just now. Forgot to put it in the fridge so not only was it warm but I'll probably get food poisoning too -_-

    The garage I go to.

It has five parking spaces at the shop. They are always full, even when there are no more than two customers in the shop.

How can this be? How can it be anything other than TA?

I asked a person if a certain thing had arrived, the response was "I would say so", so I asked again and got the same response. Wth is wrong with yes,no, due later etc as an actual response. Im no wiser now as to the status of what im expecting.
