Defrosted my car and went back inside for about 2 minutes. Came back out and it was frozen over again.

Try Prestone de-icer or Demon ice, both quite good, demon ice you spray on at night and prevents it getting really frosty for the morning, (if you use enough)

Today I've a big meeting and I'll be wearing a skirt suit and heels high enough to bring me up to the dizzying heights of 5ft 3.

Pre-emptively TA'd that my feet are going to be aching to all get out in a few hours.

And my feet hurt so much that I've had to buy things on Amazon to ease the pain. :(

TA'd at wearing heels resulting in no choice but to overspend.

    Pretentious business names

There is a hotel across the road from Connolly Station in Dublin 1. Not an area you’d be advising tourists to be wandering around late at night, kinda shady

In big bright lights shining in the night the name is “The Address”

I’m on the croke park resident list and 600 tickets go up for pre sale for each concert

Taylor Swift pre sale tickets were available and all week a girl on my team was asking and asking and I said sure, be here a little before 9am Thursday and I’ll give you the code

Thursday morning comes around, she strolls in late. I ask do you want the pre sale code and I’m told no don’t want it anymore

I could have given it to someone else!!!

All I want to do is sleep. Fell asleep on the couch yesterday. Then went to bed at 12.30, alarm went off at 9.30 and I am still so bloody tired. I need to get up and do my treatment and IVs, I'd seriously pay someone to do them for me so I could sleep.

What kind of evil system is this, putting an exam and ball on the same day. Here reading notes and curling hair at the same time

    That's tough Seph.

Implications? Can you forget about it for now and resit in New Year?

Can be a right kick to hear you've failed, especially when you have worked hard for it. Hope you get over the disappointment.

    Good luck in 2 weeks.

70% to pass is crazy. That's usually a first!
I hope you pass it next time

College was quiet all year round. No major assignments, projects to do. In fact it was a breeze.
Now, we have just been bombarded with projects assignments, online assessments all at once. 😡
I go to college all week ( very full timetable compared to others) , work both Saturday and Sunday then drive 3 hours back to college.

Major stressing I won't get it all done this weekend.

Pretty standard for a lot of professional exams.

Hard luck Seph. Hope it goes better for you next time.

The stupid work secret santa that we are forced to do every year, where we all have to think of the most HILARIOUS gift and anyone who buys a mug or chocolates is scoffed at. As if having to come up with the perfect gift wasn't hard enough, we have to gather in the canteen and open our "hilarious" gifts in front of everyone, one by one. Its torture. Might call in sick so I don't have to participate in the present opening.

You should get something really inappropriate like anal plugs and just stand there with a straight face

    Weird customers.
First of the day bought a few bits, then asked could she use the bathroom. I said of course, chatted away to her husband while she was inside, then as they were leaving she says 'oh by the way, I didn't flush as I only peed'. I just said thanks (thinking WTF, I hope she's joking!) and went to investigate - yep, unflushed toilet, no toilet paper used! Bleurgh!
Then just now, an American couple boasting about how they're staying in one of the top 5 luxury castle hotels in the country, and in the next breath complaining that everything in Ireland is sooo expensive. They told me their adult daughter had asked them to get her an Aran blanket as her Christmas gift; husband was wondering would they get away with buying her a small Aran scarf instead, to drape over the bottom of her bed. Priorities!

I know it's old hat around these parts but I'm waiting for 2 different couriers today, I would have liked to go out to get something nice for lunch but I said I'd surely miss at least one if I did.

Nearly half two now and no sign of either.

Why can't the others give a delivery window like DPD?
