The smell of cigarettes.

I'm off them 3 weeks now and I've found the whole process easy. Easier than I ever thought.
And yes now I've become one of those annoying ex-smokers who berates other smokers.

Well, I'm not berating them. I've just become extremely aware of the SMELL.
Yesterday I was out shopping and passed by two lads smoking. The stink was so bad I nearly got sick in my mouth.

I felt so annoyed with myself for ever starting but at the same time so proud that I've quit.

TA'd that I burned the roof of my mouth eating pizza and now I have dangly skin hanging that stings like hell.

So there is a train with loads of empty seats.

There will always be one person who sits down right beside you, despite the fact that there are lots of other empty seats.

I just cannot figure that out.

We had a really beautiful singer in my local tonight. Had goosebumps listening to her voice. But a couple of drunken singers thought they could do harmony with her......total mistake. They couldn't sing sober so why ruin a great performance :mad:

Happened me a few weeks ago. The train was half empty, the seats across from me, behind me and in front of me were completely empty. This old smelly man got on and proceeded to take up the whole armrest and was encroaching on my personal space. So I WRECKED HIS HEAD by getting up and moving my things one by one to the seat in front, shuffling back and forth with him having to move each time.

I was in the chipper yesterday evening. guy comes in waits there for a few minutes while the girl behind the counter was serving someone else.easily 2 -3 minutes
she then asks him what he wants and he starts looking at the board and humming and hawing . he was like a dear in the head lights
took him ages to read it all then order basic stuff every chipper would have. I think it was a cheese burger and chips.

why wasn't he prepared. he had 2-3 minutes to read the board complete idiot

TA i can be indecisive like that, id go into kfc the odd time and be flustered by all the different box meals and side order options. but if that happens id just let someone go ahead and go back in the queue to make up my mind.

in some tiny places you cant take a seat, get a menu and be seen out of everyone way by a waiter like a restaurant, so your only option is the board with small writing ahead of you where you're among the queue and in the way.

get your point though, when you're starving you dont need that kind of thing.

Just after a big feed. Stretched out on the sofa flicking through the channels. Happy out. Then i get a call from my contractor saying another customer has grass cut since Friday and wants to pick it up now. They want me to go drawing as 2 drivers are under the weather after the fight last night. So much for a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Smug ex smoker here of ten years plus. Well done and stick with. You are right about the smell....it's disgusting. When I gave them up, I developed a wolfs sense of smell, I could detect smokers, and people who spend time in the company of smokers, from a half mile away.

When I complain about against the lease smoking in the house where my sometimes flat is, and ppl sympathetically "I know, I hate the smell of cigarettes too"!
DUH! its NOT the smell that is the problem, its the kack that's in them, that I'll be forced to breath and the effect it will have on my already weakened chest.

I see a fine decent spider within. B0ll0x. Went to get a towel and try to pull him out. When i turn around the fecker is gone down the plughole. B0ll0x Poor bastard met a watery end. Whole heap of clothes in the machine. Almost no powder. B0ll0x. Fresh socks. No they're all waiting to be washed. B0ll0x.
