This is not a week for point hits imo. A real crap shoot. It's still possibly my favourite gameweek of the year. 10 games all at once. Constantly changing dynamics.

Agree with this, but it has also given me a nightmarish flashback to last season's GW38 - I didn't want to take a -4 to get Giroud in, cue hattrick :(

Selling players my rivals don't have.

Buying players my rivals do have.

    My favourite final day tactic.

Punting is so much more fun than blocking. Already trying to figure out who my GW38 hero is gonna be.

I really want to captain siggy......I held him as planned through thick and thin .......with this plan in my heart.........:D

    Maths will be my hero.

Can't be outscored if they own the same players. :p

I'm prepared for this plan to fail terribly by my rivals signing some mad differentials.

    It nearly happened before.

One season I won a league by 4 points ahead of 2nd place. The next season I was 200 ahead of 2nd place. Winning by 4 was way more fun. :pac:

Go on sure. :) Imagine him scoring a brace on the final day and you have him captain. You'd never forget that til the day you die.

If he blanks it wouldn't be the end of the world as you've had a great season anyway. The differential in owning him is probably enough though.

    Depends on Sanchez fitness
    If not fit then .....

I may join you on that one!
Only if Hull win tomorrow though.

If Chelsea are playing their second string next week the likes of Batshuayi and Willian should be good picks home to Sunderland. Lets see what Chelsea do tomorrow and what Conte says during the week.

My GW38 hero is going to be Sturridge

Had a quick gander at the transfers last night -

Had the exact funds to do Alli --> Coutinho and Jesus --> Sturridge

Would be a ballsy/crazy move with so many games still to go this week so will hold off for now

Unless we have some unexpected results this week, Liverpool, Arsenal and Mn City are the only ones with anything to play for. Have 3 City, 2 Arsenal and will probably bring in 2 Liverpool.

Make sure the bench is strong lads!

Sturridge is £9.6m! forget it!

Could be his last game for Liverpool, looked very sharp yesterday, links well with Coutinho and....ehh...Brad Guzan :pac:

If (big if) WBA could hold City to a draw, City and Liverpool would be level on points and only 1 goal in the goal difference.

This would set up a last day shoot out for automatic qualification for the CL. Jesus AND Sturridge all the way if this happens!

There's loads or permutations alright - I have Giroud floating around in the mix as well....I'm thinking he should play against Sunderland and maybe be rested against Everton with the Cup final in mind.

And then Kane up against Watford....would be hard to blame Spurs if they weren't arsed about it at this stage

Assuming Arsenal win tomorrow I cannot see any of their players being rested. As much as I'd like it to be otherwise Top 4 is more important to teams than the FA Cup. They have to try beat Everton and hope Middlesboro do them a favour.

Personally I'd rather win trophies but thats modern football!!

Will see how things go over next few days but at the moment I'm thinking a -4 of Hazard and Lukaku to Coutinho and Aguero

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,768 ✭✭✭✭CSF

    Hazard out.
