Well since someone went ahead and started the Matchday Thread early :p we might as well start this one too.

At present, not a bloody clue, might even bank it.

Going to lock this up until after GW37 transfer window closes.

Matchday thread was started on matchday - not early.

Will re-open when I get home from work this evening.

Clearly I'm reading above and not even thinking. I haven't had a wildcard for like 4 months. Of course I mean the relegation battle.

Maybe Rooney in for most likely his last United game at old Trafford.

But he said earlier in week he wanted to stay at Utd and play.

    Wishful thinking methinks.

He'll be back at Everton next season I reckon after they sell lukaku.
Ah I'm only joking anyway, I'd be very unlikely to bring him in even if confirmed starting

I'd play bobby Charlton in fantasy and real life before Rooney
    He is probably fitter too

Stranger things have happened than, Rooney to Everton and Lukaku back under Jose's wing.

Lukaku out. That much is certain.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,452 ✭✭✭Invincible

    Hazard out
    KDB in

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,278 ✭✭✭✭CSF

If Hazard and Costa get rested on Monday night I will not even consider getting rid of them, and would consider both as potential captain options.

Yes, might get Kane in for Costa too, as a blocker and some pool mid.

Don't know where people think Everton are getting the money to afford Rooneys Wages

You could say that about pretty much anyone outside of China who would be likely to actually want him.

Plus I think Rooney has lost a fair bit of bargaining power since he got his last contract at United. Unless he goes to China (he won't) he's taking a drop in wages.
And there's a lot of money around the premier league now, clubs like palace shedding out 30mil on players and Bournemouth spending 17mil or so on Liverpool bench fodder.
So I'm sure rooneys wages can be managed given his transfer fee (if any) would be very small.

Out - holidayers. In - the motivated.

If you look at player interviews closely you can spot who are still striving for finishing position even in mid table.

This is not a week for point hits imo. A real crap shoot. It's still possibly my favourite gameweek of the year. 10 games all at once. Constantly changing dynamics.

Agree with this, but it has also given me a nightmarish flashback to last season's GW38 - I didn't want to take a -4 to get Giroud in, cue hattrick :(

Selling players my rivals don't have.

Buying players my rivals do have.

    My favourite final day tactic.

Punting is so much more fun than blocking. Already trying to figure out who my GW38 hero is gonna be.

    Maths will be my hero.

Can't be outscored if they own the same players. :p

I'm prepared for this plan to fail terribly by my rivals signing some mad differentials.

    It nearly happened before.

One season I won a league by 4 points ahead of 2nd place. The next season I was 200 ahead of 2nd place. Winning by 4 was way more fun. :pac:

Go on sure. :) Imagine him scoring a brace on the final day and you have him captain. You'd never forget that til the day you die.

If he blanks it wouldn't be the end of the world as you've had a great season anyway. The differential in owning him is probably enough though.

    Depends on Sanchez fitness

If Chelsea are playing their second string next week the likes of Batshuayi and Willian should be good picks home to Sunderland. Lets see what Chelsea do tomorrow and what Conte says during the week.

Had a quick gander at the transfers last night -

Had the exact funds to do Alli --> Coutinho and Jesus --> Sturridge

Would be a ballsy/crazy move with so many games still to go this week so will hold off for now
