Yeah, young Billie did ADR for movies such as the X-men films. Her dad was in Iron Man, and her mum's MAggie Baird, who did voice acting in the Mass Effect games.

I think Billie's lack of 'energy' is down to her being vegan as well.

Lana del Rey's another one who's parents are rich as hell.

Give Billie a couple of years-she'll fizzle out. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift... their act gets boring after a while.
So they try to go into film instead.

Billie eilish's dad is a construction worker who did extras work for Iron Man and the West Wing. Her mum is a teacher and actress who's had small parts in movies and the odd TV episode. They ain't rich.

Lana Del Rey's dad worked for a furniture company in Lake Placid where her mum was a schoolteacher. LDR worked as a waitress in her younger years. They ain't rich either.

A little research helps a lot.

I'm no expert but didn't 2 of those (Swift and Gaga) come out with albums this year, Swift's being lauded in many places as album of the year and Gaga's single "Rain On Me" probably being the breakout song of the year?

Her dad's donated over a million dollars to charity in the last decade or so-hardly poor.
He made his money from website domains.

    Edit: Talking bout LDR.

He started that when she was ending her teens. Wealthy now, wasn't always and she didn't grow up wealthy. Nor Billie Eilish. It seems pretty unfair to pick on these talented women and accuse them of coming from spoiled backgrounds when they didn't. If you go down that route then it's time to dump half your record collection, starting with the Stones and Pink Floyd.

And I think Billie Eilish could rightly claim to be a Kurt Cobain of sorts to her fan-base (teenage girls with self-confidence issues). She wears baggy clothes as a mechanism against body shaming, which should be commended in an era where "pop stars" wear next to nothing on stage, music videos and social media. Seems very unobtrusive in terms of having a celebrity lifestyle, if she has one at all, and comes across as genuine and humble in the albeit few interviews I have seen with her.

She is only eighteen and already has an impressive body work, regardless if she wasn't the sole writer/creator of her tunes. Give me the likes of her over Beyonce any day of the week, who claims to be this powerful, influential woman, but who married a billionaire and hasn't released a new song in yonks.

Caught her at the Electric Picnic 15 months ago and she was very impressive. The material is good enough to appeal to a wide swathe of people including myself and pals who are predominantly indie fans. She works with her brother, doesn't have a huge entourage and when in Ireland usually stays with Dave Fanning and his daughter who she became pals with a few years ago.
She's 19 next week, an impressive young woman. All the best to her.

Found it a bit sinister when Lana Del Ray’s real name was “shoehorned” into one of the posts.

    The tide is turning…

She lived in a trailer park for a while so definitely isn't from a rich background, not that it should make a difference either way.

And Katy Perry's real name is Kate Hudson... it makes no difference.

It's not like dead-naming a trans male or trans female. That's an entirely different kettle of fish. (And something which I completely disagree with-I think it's a form of bullying to recall someone's name before transitioning).

Alicia Vikander.. Totally forgot about this one but I've 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E' on on the TV now because Armie (I'd give him a)Hammer(ing) is in the movie. Could never quite put my finger on what it is about her. There's obviously something appealing about her because she's in a good few movies. I just zone out when I see her. I just don't get her one bit. Dare I say, I find her extremely plain. & I usually think plain women are the most attractive. But there ya go

it is just a really odd thing to do. If you mentioned Elton John would you put "AKA Reg Dwight" in brackets after his name?

It depends on the musician. Genuinely.

Victoria Pedretti (Nell from Haunting of Hill House and Dani Haunting for Bly Manor). Has the same blank, dead eyed expression in everything. Can nearly hear the wind bowing through her ears its that blank. The lights are on but no one is home.

Yeah she's strange. She was very strange in 'You' aswel. Not just the character she played, but her herself. Then when she turned up in Hill & Bly, I still thought the same. Dont know what it is about her either

God, can you imagine how different the X-men movies would be if he sounded like a Healy Rae?
His speech in Days of Future past would have become legendary.

'You BILL-T DESE WHEP-uns to DESH-TRY us, bai'...SURE you're ONLY JEALOUS cos WE'RE FROM KERRY'

You can hear his accent in full force at the end of X-men First Class.

But no, he doesn't have a Healy Rae accent, it's very much a Kerry accent with a hint of German too.
