Planning on crapping in a taxi later, what's the soiling charge these days?

It's not a definite plan, but it MIGHT happen.

If I was a cab driver and someone did that I'd make sure they got a good taste of it on their way out the door.

    High, hopefully.
    You and the penalty.

    Otherwise that's just low.

If I were driving that taxi, I'd forgot the soiling charge and leave you up over Sally gap with a long walk home to think about where and how my life had gone wrong....

    Soiling charge?

I think punishment enough is just you being yourself OP.

There's no worse punishment for a premeditated car ****ter.

So far we've heard from the hard men and moralists.

You simply will not be leaving he taxi short of putting €90 through on your card I'd say.

Ask the takeaway for a plastic bag.

And now we have heard from the experienced.

140 eurons is the maximum charge. If the discharge corresponds to a 1,2,6 or 7 on the Bristol stool chart then I can't see the driver letting you away with less than the maximum charge.

Should they not display this chart in the taxi, just to avoid any potential confusion?

Not a bad idea at all. Maybe contact the Taxi Regulator with your suggestion?

Most of the drivers talk shïte anyway so would be experts on the matter.

They won't return my calls anymore.

Unless you're planning on taking your pants off, **** all over the inside of your pants.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 181 ✭✭TresGats

Make a 2nd 'outer' pair of pants from a spar bag and some elastic or twine. Might contain the damage.
It's normally babies around the age of 10 months who enjoy ****ting themselves, are you regressing OP?

    Pints.

There's such a thing as too many too you know.

My two cents - don't alert the driver at all and simply throw it out the window.

I'm assuming a grade 3 though on the Bristol stool chart, with a clean break.

If not, I can't help you.

TBH, 1 or 2 could be picked up with a pair of rubber gloves, leaving little staining. If I was the OP after a 6 or 7, €140 would be the very least of my concerns. What ever the out come though, it's still quite a sh!tty thing to do.

I think just being you is punishment enough

Do it after a few Guinnesses and a curry.....it can only improve the smell in some taxis :)

Sir, may I suggest an adult diaper? That way you get to relieve yourself without the inconvenience of paying a soiling charge.

    Thread is shît. Literally.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

It's always better to log kind comments than it is to log the back seat of a hackney. Cheaper too.

I'm reeeeeeeeeeally tempted to google The Bristol Stool Chart but I'm currently munching on a couple of Viscount Mints and I know the beautiful sweet mint taste of them will forever be replaced if I do.

Not that I want to come across all preachy or anything but I would strongly advise that you do it in the back seat as opposed to the front passenger seat.

Do what the cab drivers themselves do: crap in a plastic bag, tie it shut and throw it out the window.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Who da funk would want that on a cake. But whilst I am quite familiar with the Bristol Stool Chart, and most bodily fluids don't bother me, I am trying to eat my dinner.

Wouldn't put me off. A cake's a cake as far as I'm concerned.
