    Hi guys ,

As far as I can see you won't get any decent money back for them. The only option is a private sale and if you use a RFD to hold the firearms if and when your licensing runs out you may incur costs etc.

Just my own thoughts, but for the sake of the licensing fee you'd be better off holding the guns until a your circumstances change and if that happens you have your guns / licences and would be in a better place to trade, if needed, for something that may take your fancy or suit your future circumstances.

Unfortunately you'll only get a fraction of what you paid for your guns if you trade into a dealer. The dealer must buy your guns for a small amount of money and sell them on for more.

Since the guns are under to 2 years old you're probably better off hanging on to them if you only fire them the odd time, if you really want to sell them a private sale will give you a fairer price for them.

If you are selling and you have a .22, depending on your location, my brother in law might be interested. I'm in the same boat where I haven't had much chance of getting out to shoot, but I intend to keep mine and try to find time to get out.

Lads i have to reiterate. This is not the for sale section. All sales go through there. Any posts looking for price, or anything to do with buying/selling will be removed.
