Lovely.. been looking forward to this.

If you like your comedian's quite offbeat and dry, you're onto a winner.

Acaster is brilliant, have been looking forward to watching these.

Watched ”Hunt for the Wilderpeople” last night excellent New Zealand movie from Taika Waititi with brilliant performances from Sam Neill and newcomer Julian Dennison, If you like the off-beat humour of “What we do in the shadows” and Thor Ragnarok then you’ll enjoy this 8/10.

“A most violent year”great story about corruption in the New York heating oil business set in 1981. It’s a very tense well made movie with a great performances from Oscar Issac and Jessica Chastain. 7/10

Hunt for the Wilderpeople is amazing, there are a huge amount of layers to it.

Personally thought it ran out of steam with about 20 minutes left to go, and I don't think it knew how to finish, but still a great film.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

For anyone that hasn’t seen it The Defiant Ones is incredible.

It really is. Just watched the whole thing today. Absolutely must see stuff for anyone with an ounce of interest in music.

Surprised Netflix have it as it had HBO all over it. Surely Sky would have gotten first dibs.

Finished wild wild country, agree 4 episodes was more then enough, cant get my head around those people who followed the bagwan though they're all utterly bonkers though as was he and sheera and the rest obviously, headcases the lot of them, sheera was a particularly dangerous nutcase though

Absolutely. One of 2 movies that have caused me legitimate tears in my adult movie watching life. It's advertised as a children's movie but I wouldn't go showing any young kids.

Some of the footage in LA 92 is astonishing !
Especially the fall out after the trial as I’d seen the Rodney King footage before .
The videos at the main intersection and of the Korean shopkeepers later on is crazy

I watched this over the last two nights....it's slow paced but excellent.
    Thanks for the recommendation.

I highly recommend LA 92. It is an incredibly powerful watch. No talking heads - just news and home video footage from the time. The sceens from the riots are particularly violent, however, and require a strong stomach to watch.

I don't know if it's a sign we've/I've become too desensitised to violence but the most moving part was the black guy in tears at his business being torn asunder and him crying saying "I tried to make it". That said, there were a lot of powerful moments.

    Great doc.

I don't get it, so I must ask, what does this refer to? Is Bridge to Terabithia a tearful film?
