I know when it's my round. I get my round.

In my experience the only people who don't actually follow whose round it is are the ones who dodge their round.

"Oh, is it my round already? Sure I only just got one..."

I've talked about all of these in many bars.

I'm just answering the ops question. That's the old saying. I know the right answer. Have a chat about that in the pub.

    Erectile disfunction

I discussed this earlier in a pub

To OP, I always thought it was just the two you mentioned. Don't think there is a third..and those two "bans" are constantly ignored. Only when things get heated is the line thrown out

    Are there three of them?

Who's turn is it to rip the till (discussed away from the bar by the staff).

The owners relationship with the latest barmaid ( not to be discussed within earshot of the owners wife, her family or friends, who also frequent the bar).

The owners relationship with the previous barmaid(s).

    Erectile disfunction

Moderately amusing story. I used to work in a sports shop in Liffey Valley. We'd regularly go to the Deadman's for a few pints. The topic of taking people home came up and I was telling a story of when I took a young lady home one night but we'd had loads to drink. Cue one of the girls going "And you couldn't get it up!".

Admittedly it was totally true, I had had far too much to drink. Still...

Thanks, O, that was what I was getting to. As a mid-twenties person it should been embarrassing but I got through it.

Still, that would be up there.

    Keano / Dunphy debate.

+1 on this, would start off ok enough, but eventually there'd be headbutts thrown

    All three are linked.

    In Scotland anyway.

I have two friends and after a few drinks when this one starts up it's time for everyone else to just back away for the half hour or so..
Plus I think they each start it up intentionally to rile the other one.

My aunt always freaks out if anyone talks about politics. You could be having a completely civil conversation and then she butts in and says "oh we're not going down that road"! What road?

We also had a party in the house a while ago that went on too long! I can't remember what we were all talking about but I think it got a bit Twighlight Zone mixed with competing for control of the CD player. My oh met one of our friends a few days later who just disappeared that night and he said "I just had to get out of there" :pac:

1 and 11 are not 3 well in roman numerals maybe.
