Prairie sandwiches. Two slices of buttered bread with a wide open space between them.

My real favourite is the good old BLT with back rashes - not streaky.

Proper ham (none of that sliced supermarket stuff) and tayto crisps. :)

Wtf is up with wafer thin ham anyway? Is it for people who'd like some ham but don't want to taste it??

Chicken tikka Spar-style, with peppers, onion, and cheese (red cheddar). On a toasted white baguette. Mmmmmm.

Tastiest sandwich I know of (and I'd never try to replicate it myself!) is one with proper home-cooked ham, celeriac slaw, and Comte cheese.

Every time I'm in the area of the shop, I treat myself.

    Nom nom nom!

Crispy smoked bacon, roast chicken, grated mature red cheddar, shredded lettuce, thinly sliced tomato, thin slice of onion, a smear of mayo, crusty grainy rye bread. Served with a huge mug of tea.

I'd have the "Guilty Pleasure Sandwich" at 6.
Some sort of pot noodles/noodles stuffed between 2 slices of bread.
It's like Iskanders though - it only appears after a skinful of drink late at night.

Bits of farm animals that have been slaughtered, processed and cooked between two slices of bread smeared with fat congealed from their mammary secretions.

I requested one in a deli last week, (a roll) filled with barbecue sauce, a dash of mayo, chicken breast, pineapple, mixed peppers and scallion. I didn't eat it in the end (I saw the deli lady lie IN the sandwich when she leaned over to get the scallion. I was too tired to tell her her food handling standards disgusted me). My boyfriend wasn't as fussy though. He ate it and said it was the nicest sambo EVER!
