Favourite social games

Ok, please don't throw the hate comments at me. I know how much people can get frustrated over social games especially Facebook's games like FarmVille, Farm Heroes Saga etc. Sorry mods if this thread does not belong here, I do apologise if that's the case.

But this is just out of curiosity since I've never seen it talked about and I'm definitely a person for nostalgia. I'm going to talk about specifically Facebook games here for my opinions but it doesn't have to be just Facebook, any social games if you want.

What are your favourite social games even if they have been shut down or removed over the years?

My top 5 favourites have to be

    1. Geo Challenge - Easily the best educational game ever made. Feel very sad for anybody, specifically Geography nerds like myself, that never got to try this game.

    2. FarmVille - Yes this infamous game is one of my favourites but see you shouldn't be surprised given that many of my opinions of something are unpopular. FarmVille has definitely gotten worse and absolutely terrible over the years but from like 2009-2012, it was easily one of my favourite games ever. I do hate how heavy the game is though and therefore, very slow to load.

    3. PetVille - Loved decorating my house and seeing my pet eat the treats I fed him in it was absolutely adorable. I miss my Pet so much :(.

    4. Ruby Blast Adventures - This was my favourite Match 3 game ever made. It was very fun to compete with everybody for the weekly tournaments and very replayable also.

    5. FishVille - Literally FarmVille but a bit of a downgrade imo and aquarium based rather than a farm. I guess this game is just purely nostalgia of why I love it, I can't see how I love it that much apart from that.

Others include YoVille (YoWorld will never be as good as YoVille!), Know-It-All Trivia, FrontierVille (known as Pioneer Trail before it shut down) and ChefVille.

    Pfft.

Unless you have played Oregan Trail, Facebook games can go suck a ballbag.

I meant in Oregan Trail. Everytime I went hunting...my family died of Cholera. I was **** at OT.

New Zealand Story and Flimbos Quest were games on the Commodore 64....retro to a mid 30's guy.

Expected this to be about games like charades and stuff where you interact with actual people.

The word "social" has taken on a whole new meaning these days.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Sporcle. Have some decent quizzes you can send to friends.

The Countries of the World one in particular leads to incredible one-up-man ship.

I've never played that one but I'm in my 40s so I'm probably too old for it.

I am quite aware. I didn't specifically say what type of social games I meant. I did mean ANY social games.

It's very close to sporcle, I like the countries being coloured when guessed, but the tables make it too easy to fill in the gaps as it were.

Defiantly but after some crippling defeats I tend to reside in a poorly lit room reading books written by unpronounceable Russians so maybe not the most social of games. Or maybe thats just me......

Does anyone remember Mafia Wars? Quite intense game popular around 2007-2009 before it faded into obscurity.

Facebook games are probably the least social games since you usually play them by yourself. I've played football and darts and stuff like that in real life. They're fairly social so do they count?

Yes they do count after all you're competing with others and it's a game.... so social game.

I most certainly do. After they got rid of Las Vegas in it, I did not like the game from then on.

Holds up four fingers. Holds up one finger. Taps two fingers on wrist. Tugs ear lobe. Cups left hand and puts right hand beside it, holding thumb and forefinger of right hand together, before drawing them away from left hand, then swinging left arm in an arch, uncupping left hand. Crouches and sticks fingers in ears. Stands up and throws arms wide apart. Looks optimistically at the blank faces of the audience. Shakes head. Taps one finger against wrist. Tugs earlobe. Places both hands in front of himself, each loosely cupped, in a ten to two position about a foot apart. Moves right hand briefly to the centre of this imaginary clock and presses twice. Looks around, moves shoulders a little, takes a couple of steps forward. Taps two fingers on wrist. Stretches out one arm, puts other hand at the elbow and pushes thumb against middle of index and middle fingers. Bends over and looks up behind him expectantly. Stands up, takes a couple of steps back and pulls down pants. Holding erection in left hand, holds right hand aloft with thumb and forefinger pressed together and raises his eyebrows. Shuffles forward and bends over, looks up behind him and shakes his head. Stands up, shuffles backward, shrugs, flicks thumb and forefinger of right hand. Places hands on hips and begins thrusting. Pulls up pants, draws finger across throat, and collapses on floor.

I have work to do so can't finish the rest - over to you, whoops.
And can we have a Charades AH Beers?
