Personally my feeling is that nothing happened in the 90's.

    The 00's had smartphones.

Lots of changes in the 80's. And previous decades.

That's right! Pills and wooden tables to put them on were invented in the 90's!

    Your sarcasm is unfunny.

That is the decade they were most popular in this country, by miles. Hope this helps.

Edit - your edit is even worse. Don't take up comedy full time.

Pill poppers are even more boring.

I hit my twenties in the mid 90's. I did pills. It's not much of an achievement.

    You're boring.

I don't care how old you are.

    I never said it was.

Granted I was still a kid in the 90's, but didn't the real rave and pill scene happen in the late 80's, and the people who go into it in the 90's were just bandwagon-jumpers?

I was only 10 but I remember it well :)

Also remember John Aldridge losing it to get on the pitch against Mexico. I think when he finally did get on, he scored a goal.

I'd take the second half of the 80s and the first half of the 90s. When house music and techno emerged, ambient house etc. and it was all so new and exciting.

Started for me in the late 80s. Acid House parties at club on Tottenham Court Road in London.

Yes. Nothing original happened in the 90's. Amazing number of my age group don't get that.

I miss the 90s too. Huge changes happening. Great music. But then it was my coming of age decade like the OPs so that's hardly surprising.

Kurt Cobain would have been 50 today, dead over 20 years.

he kicked off an awful style of music though, an A-bomb is Seattle late 80's would have done the west a favor:pac:

Stone Cold Steve Austin kicking the bollox out of his boss and giving everyone the finger in the 1990's was the best ever.

The only thing I truly miss about the 90's is how far money went. Give a kid a pound to get sweets in the shop and they came home with loads. Give a kid today a euro they'd be lucky to get 2 things with it.

Trainspotting 2 quote yes? Trainspotting was a great 90's film with a bad ass soundtrack.
