I find the people complaining about these reports did not complain about the reporting about the Hillary investigation being reopened (if you look back the lefts complaints were simply about the timing). That turned out the be a pile of nothing because it was similarly based on unproven information. Or about any other investigation being opened or ongoing that gets reported.

Come on. Cnn took far more care than the unsubstantiated stories about illegal immigrants voting or global warming which were both presented as fact. Or the zerohedge report that 4chan totally did make up this report (though cnn should be held to a far higher standard than them but the other two come from the president).
Suddenly very different people care about it in spite of far more care coming in the reporting.

I mean how many times has Trump himself used a variance of your final paragraph? However that is not what cnn did given they based their report on an actual IC report saying that this is a report from the IC.

It is an interesting debate. Should the media sit on allegations about someone? Should they sit on investigations? Should they be holding things back from the public or allowing them to make up their own minds?

As a news organization I think they should follow some journalistic basics like being able to back up what they say or print with valid evidence and proof and not this unverified "we'll let the people decide" garbage.

Some info from the BBC about the intelligence report, claim Jeb bush was one of the people behind the report.

    Democrats then took it over.

Fake news CNN's share price down 35% in one year!

    Sad!

They had an absolute nightmare yesterday. It really is shocking for a News channel to have the President calling them out on TV. If I was the boss of CNN I would be calling a meeting to get the  journalists to stop embarrassing the CNN brand.

Get the 5 year value up and get the percentage change between Jan 9 2015 and Jan 12 2016. 34.5 rounded up is 35%.

    168 then now 108.
    Caledonian Trust?
Caledonian Trust is a long-established conservatively-managed property company whose assets include a number of properties with a reasonable probability of very high returns combined with a high probability of nil or limited losses: "high upside, limited downside"

I like Trump , he's not playing the meida's games or acting in anyway whiter then white . Obama was a great orator no doubt but he was a typical snake oil salesman type politician , a hope-monger but overall has achieved very little in his 8 years and made a hames of the international stuff during that time.

Im looking forward to seeing what president Trump will do in office, it'l be nice to watch a politician unafraid of the uber PC libertards and their histrionics.

Obama has achieved loads with Obamacare alone. So many people have been helped by it. It's not perfect by far but for many it was a literal lifeline. Trumps bluster politics are collapsing out the gate. He's already rolling back on everything. His appointments so far could put the US back decades. Climate change deniers, big business bosses and fundamental christians. His whole administration will be compromised from the outset.

The latest nonsense with CNN is a scary look at how he will behave. Don't like the press? Threaten them. And he has the cheek to suggest he is being treated like he is in nazi Germany? How blind can you be? Newt Gingrich is actually quoted afterwards asking what made the reporter think he was equal to the president. Apparently he forgot that all persons are created equal.

Next time, they should just point the camera at Trump's hired applause section throughout the presser.

    Sad!

Yeah getting into a shouting match at a press conference with the President of the United States is going to make the company you work for look great!

It was his company who colluded to try and get Trump's opponent elected, then published what looks like a fake news story the night before his press conference.

They think they're above president Obama? I can't say I've ever noticed. Maybe from fake news sites like breitbart, but nobody including the president pays any attention to them.

Obamacare is an absolute disaster for so many Americans.. $500 premium per month with an $8000 deductible for regular Joes in some states in 2017. 100% increase in some states this year and you must pay for it but most don't have the cash for the deductible.

Obama got almost everything done through executive orders and that's why Trump can do what he likes with them. Through all of that, he still couldn't close Guantanimo, still the most disgraceful thing any Western nation is operating. Obama couldn't get his government in order because the Dems are pure shỉte at voting for anything other than hope and feminism. Now, the GOP will be able to do what they like because their voters knew to vote in the House, the Senate and all the Governors. Trump is second to all of that imo.

Threaten them? If this turns out to be false, Buzzfeed deserve and will be sued out of existence. CNN will get away with it but will be dead in a lot of people's eyes because of the clever way they reported it. Why should he put up with the same station that told viewers it was illegal to look at Wikileaks..? They are the definition of fake BS.

Obamacare is also a godsend to many americans, people seem to just forget that. In the US people were tied to a specific job due to health insurance, pre condition meant that you were basically out of the market and if you lost your job that was it.

Bit rich to mark Obama down for not closing Guantanimo when it was GWB and the republicans that opened it.

Internationally Obama left a lot to be desired, domestically as well. But he did stave off a depression, which was a very real possibility given what GWB had presided over. He saved the motor industry, there are far more jobs that Obama kept in the US for the motor companies than Trump is currently crowing about (although of course Trump has plenty of time).

People have quickly forgotten what an absolute basket case GWB left the US in. They were pretty much hated acorss the globe, facing depression economically.

Everyone meaning a small pocket of nutters on the internet. Let's say a military order has to be given between now and next week, who do you think they're going to listen to?

That press conference yesterday was not for the president. It was for a business man setting out his plan to allow him continue making money while president, denying ever having contact with Russia and telling us all how much he definitely doesn't like golden showers all over his tiny little golden face and hair.

Are we not allowed to mock and ridicule the soon to be POTUS? Shut all that free speech down? Granted though, taking the piss out of him is just too easy these days...

It is to any reasonable person and to Trumps opposition. Ignoring a reporter because you don't like the questions they ask doesn't look great. Stacking your table with folders of blank pages to make it look like you have a plan doesn't look great. Getting your staff to laugh and applaud you in your own press conference doesn't look great.
It was his company who colluded to try and get Trump's opponent elected, then published what looks like a fake news story the night before his press conference.

And Fox did the same for Trump. Have you forgotten about Obamas birth cert?

Do you hear yourself? Martyrs? Defying him? You do realise it's supposed to be a democracy don't you?

How do those prices compare to the cost of going to a&e with a minor injury or illness with no insurance?
