No thread so far, so figured i'd throw it up.

We need to win this. Everyone around us got 3 points, and we have to keep pace with them. Won't be easy though, as they are playing some decent football at the moment.

This is going to be a tough one. Southampton will be extra psyched up with poch returning. However with walker and rose on fire and Toby back Im hoping for a 4 1 win. Harry to score a brace!

    Very ambitious Joe.

I'm hoping we can win too. We really need to keep pace with the others as everyone around us is racking up the wins but I think we will struggle to undo them. 1-1, maybe 2-1 at a push but could see them winning 2-1 rather than us.

Yes, need a win to keep up with the pace of the teams around us. Plus the gap to Chelsea cannot grow. I cannot see them scoring especially with Toby back. Hoping we can score one if not two. So I reckon we will win 1-0 or 2-0. Harry is due a goal.

Difficult game away from home, a win of any type will do. A win with some style and skill would be brilliant. Seems like an age since we last played.

Nervous about this one but it's a must win. The long break must stand to our guys

Think this will be game if the Xmas period.

Saw Southampton against Bournemouth and they were very good ! To be fair it's prob the poorest Bournemouth have been this season .

Looking forward to the 4 full backs see who comes out on top the 4 have prob been the best in PL this year . Also Van Dijk up against Kane real good battle there.

Away to Southampton is a game we'd hope to win, but it's not a must win game by any means.

A draw is the most likely outcome I think, really hope we win though and keep in touch with teams above us.....coys

    Toby has a virus

I suppose I'd prefer he had a virus than a knock.

    Unless it's terminal

Doesn't matter. Stoke scored first against the pool yesterday and lost 4 1

Wimmer must have done something terrible on Pooch.

Can't see why Dier is ahead of him for center back.

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

Eriksen has been very wasteful with possession. Southampton have been very negative since conceding. We're lacking ideas though.

We missed a gilt edged chance just before half time. ...all over them in possession...as usual our corners are shocking....but I'm happy going into second half....could this be jannsens match to shine and maybe a cameo by son?

Vertongen might be in trouble looks like he gouged a saints striker in the face early in 1 half.

Kyle walker still can't cross a ball to save his life!

We need a team of dembeles ! Been immense in both halves of the pitch..

Hope we win 3-1 Kane and a late Janssen supersub to seal it in the last 15 mins

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

Kane so unlucky could have finished them off

Unlucky from Eriksen. Son on for Sissoko, who has actually been quite good.

Long will cause us trouble. He'll be hounding the defense constantly.
