    Squat: 1x2 @ 150kg and 3x2 @ 135kg. Another day, another big beltless PB. Definitely room in the tank. Backoff sets were tough though.

    Larsen press: 87.5kg for 7, 5. Hard.

    RDL: 130kg for 2x8. Used straps and again, weight is easy. And these are easy overall once grip is out of the equation.

    Pull-ups: 2x8 @ BW. Dumbbell area busy and I wasn't feeling social enough to deal with people.

    Bench: 1x2 @ 105kg and 3x2 @ 95kg. Ckoser to a 9.5 but I'll take it. No idea what this is in relation to rep maxes but it's rare I attempt repping over 100.

    Leg press: 250kg for 2x8. Grand. Probably some PR.

    Overhead tricep extension/rope curl: 53/65 for 6/6, 5/5. Haaard.

    Pull-ups: 5kg for 1x8. Room in the tank but I ran out of time.

    Deadlift: 1x1 @ 180kg . Had planned on having a crack at 200 for a double but the 180, which was supposed to be a warmup, was a grinder. Tried retaking the 180 to see if I was doing something wrong and I couldn't even repeat it. Annoying.

    Larsen press: 87.5kg for 8, 7. Better.

    Leg extension: 95kg for 2x10. Full stack. Can't complain.

    Hamstring curls: 45kg for 8, 6. Better.

    Chest supported row: 65kg for 7, 5.Still hard.

    Have my hernia surgery next week so just using this week to piss about.

    Paused beltless SSB: 4x3 @ 120kg. Grand. Haven't done this variation in a while but it puts manners on me. Weight felt ok but the fight to stay upright was tough.

    Bench: 2x1 @ 107.5kg. I tried unracking 120kg and holding it for 10 seconds beforehand to see if 107.5 felt easier afterwards and no, it didn't.

    One arm DB row: 40kg for 2x8.

    Spoto press: 3x3 @ 100kg. Grand. Always found it strange that spotos were stronger than comp bench.

    Leg press: 200kg AMRAP for 17, 15. Ended up not being true AMRAP because my cardio let me down.

    Wide grip lat pulldown: 77kg for 10, 7. Ugh.

    Paused beltless deadlift: 3x3 @ 160kg. Light enough to be easy but heavy enough to challenge form. Felt solid.

    Bench: 2x2 @ 100kg. Grand.

    Chest supported row: 55kg for

    Leg extension: full stack for 8. Wasn't an AMRAP as planned as I suddenly just lacked motivation because I know I'm not training for a while.

    End of logging until the new year.

    Surgery was a success. Recovery had some complications but aside from that, all good. Know I'll be weak because the tiptoeing I did on xmas eve night to out presents under the tree gave me calf doms.

    Squat: 3x5 @ 50kg. Baby steps.

    Bench: 3x5 @ 70kg. Felt as expected. Msde my arms tired.

    One arm DB row: 2x8 @ 30kg. Hard to move smoothly.

    Hack squat: 3x5 @ 25kg. Leg press being used. Was exhausting.

    I have a follow up consultation later this month so I'll know more then. I was told no heavy lifting for 6 weeks post surgery, so I interpreted that as 6 weeks no gym and no being a moron after that. It's week 7 now so that's why I'm back, but being careful.

    Felt something around the hernia area yesterday. Could be paranoia but I'm gonna play it safe and avoid the lower compounds for a bit. Also, lat doms were real.

    Leg press: 200kg for 3x8. Hard.

    Calf raise: 150kg for 3x10. Grand.

    Hamstring curl: 30kg for 3x12. Grand.

    Dips/pull-ups: 10kg/BW for 3 sets of 8/5. Dips fine.

    Still feel something around the hernia, so even less lower body today. It could just be ab doms but I don't want to risk anything. Just get a beach body for now.

    Bench: 4x5 @ 80kg.

    One arm DB row: 32.5kg for 3x8. Grand.

    Incline DB bench: 20kg for 2x15. Tiring.

    Calf raise: 2x8 @ 175kg and 1x12 @ 100kg. Hard.

    Just going to keep ad hoc training until I get the full clearance.

    Felt very little around hernia, if anything at all. Still hard to say if it's just ab doms or a result of doing stuff with my legs. I did have extreme calf doms around where I tweaked my left calf last year so I'm going to avoid those for a little bit.

    Leg press: 3x8 @ 205kg. Grand.

    Bench: 4x4 @ 85kg. Hard.

    One arm DB row: 35kg for 2x8.

    Need to get back to timing rest periods. Found myself wasting time on my phone and getting little done

    Bench: 5x6 @ 75kg with 2 mins rest. Weight not challenging; just getting out of some bad habits by timing things.

    One arm DB row: 37.5kg for 3x8 with 2 mins rest. Hard.

    In and out in 35 minutes so happy with productivity. I'm likely to be short on time on Wednesdays going forward so the above looks like all I'll be able to do for a while.

    Bench: 80g for 4x5 with 3 mins rest. Grand.

    One arm DB row: 37.5kg for 2x8 with 2 mins rest. Wasn't happy with rom on Wednesday so just wanted to repeat, but I was tired at this stage.

    Skullcrushers/hammer curls: 10/15kg for 2x10/8 with 1 min between each exercise. Hard.

    All done in 58 minutes. Productivity++

    Leg press: 215kg for 4x8 with 3 mins rest. Grand.

    Calf raise: 1x15 @ 100kg with full ROM. I do these from stretched to neutral but with my recent doms being in the exact spot I injured last year, I might just do a little full ROM every once in a while do be safe while doing something.

    Bench: 90kg for 1x3 and 85kg for 3x3 with 3 mins rest. Grand.

    One arm DB row: 37.5kg for 3x8 with 2 mins rest. First 2 sets perfect but 3rd set ran out of steam.

    Incline DB bench: 15kg for 1x25. Meh.

    Bench: 5x5 @ 80kg with 2 mins rest. Grand but last set got hard.

    One arm DB row: 35kg for 2x8. Went down in weight because I started to feel tired.

    In and out in 31 minutes. Much faster than last week and it makes me think I miscounted the bench sets

    Hamstring curl: 20 reps at something light. Heard in a few places that squats/leg press feel better after doing some 'pump' work with hamstrings beforehand. Probably wasting my time but no harm otherwise.

    Leg press: 4x8 @ 220kg with 3 mins rest. Grand.

    Calf raise: 1x20 @ 100kg with full ROM. Fine.

    Bench: 95kg for 1x2 @ 95kg and 3x2 @ 90kg. Only ok. Going by how 95x2 felt, 100 would be hairy.

    Larsen press 2x10 @ 70kg. Grand.

    One arm DB row: 32.5kg for 1x8. More regression. I tweaked something on Wednesday so wanted to take it easy.

    Bench: 1x5 @ 85kg and 3x5 @ 80kg. Grand. Actually feel like my bench might get back to where it was soon.

    Larsen press 1x10 @ 70kg. Grand.

    Chest supported row: 50kg for 2x8. Just want to change it up a bit.

    Had a consultation with my surgeon and he confirmed that this discomfort is normal and to expect it for around 3 months post op. I can lift as normal. Max out every day it is then.

    Bench: 95kg for a single followed by 2x2 @ 90kg and 2x8 @ 75kg. Still too afraid of 100.

    Chest supported row: 50kg for 2x8. Easier than Monday but still hard.

    Deadlift: 110kg for 4x5. I was going to stop at 100 for my first deadlift since November but honestly, it was too light. These moved without issues. Even grip was fine.

    Bench: 80kg for 4x6. Grand. Strength definitely heading in the right direction.

    Chest supported row: 55kg for 2x6. Grand.

    Bench: 3x4 @ 90kg . This was tough.

    Machine chest press: full stack for 8, 8. Hadn't used this for ages. Trying out jumping from bench to this to see of I can save time. Debatable.

    Chest supported row: 55kg for 2x6. Bit easier than last time.

    Bench: 85kg for 4x5. Grand. Still headed in right direction.

    Chest supported row: 55kg for 2x8. Good.

    Pause squat: 80kg for 4x5. Grand. First time squatting in a month and only 2nd time since November. No pain. Just taking my time to ensure form is perfect as this is the time bad habits could instill themselves.

    Bench: 4x3 @ 90kg. Hard, but headed in the right direction.

    Hamstring curl: 35kg for 2x10. Hard, but easier than Friday somehow.

    Chest supported row: 55kg for 2x8. Still hard.

    Bench: 100kg for 3x1. Big scary weight is back to not being scary any more.

    Larsen press: 80kg for 10. Delighted.

    One arm DB row: 35kg for 2x8. Grand, and happy to change back from chest supported.

    DB hammer curls: 10kg for 1x20. Too light.

    DB skullcrushers: 10kg for 1x15. Also too light.

    All done in 36 minutes.

    Bench: 82.5kg for 4x6. Getting hard at this weight/rep range now.

    Hamstring curl: 35kg for 2x10. Harder than last week.

    Chest supported row: 60kg for 2x6. Barely finished.

    Deadlift: 4x5 @ 150kg. Starting to get hard now. Have a weird pain in my left quad/glute that sometimes occurs after training but started annoying me during these. Should address this before it gets worse.

    Bench: 87.5kg for 4x5. Easier than I thought it would be.

    Hamstring curl: 40kg for 2x8. Grand

    Chest supported row: 50kg for AMRAP (10). Was hoping for more. Ran out of time here.

    One arm DB row: 37kg for 2x8. Bloody hard.

    DB skullcrushers: 12.5kg for AMRAP (11). Probably could have done more but banged them off the sides of my head, so stopped.

    Hammer curls: 15kg for AMRAP (11). Grand.
