18 Max is what we'll have if no BP this week.
Wasps will try but might let it go a wee bit easier now. That's all I'm saying. And it could help for a BP.
Anyway, if it's raining we're done...

EDIT: no, positivity we're just "in trouble" :D

In your opinion which plenty of people disagree with. If we get 4 points this weekend the maximum number of points we can theoretically achieve is 23 not 18.

Why would wasps "let it go a wee bit easier" when it absolutely suits them to win the group for the best possible home QF. Everything we have seen from Wasps in the ERCC last season and this says they will be fully engaged in this game on saturday

With a BP, it leads us to 19
we're qualified if Toulouse lose in London with nothing
and we keep a slim chance to qualify with a BP away there, if Toulouse lose in London with a BP

Because they have their home QF with a win home against Toulouse home, which is IMO easier to achieve than us away.
And the schedule is inclined toward that focus (next game for them Bath home vs Zebre home)

This is a frustratingly ridiculous conversation.

    1. Wasps will go to Galway entirely focussed on getting a win and ensuring qualification is in their complete control. Nonsense to suggest otherwise. They have a massive squad full of talent do they don't need to prioritise.
    2. Connacht will focus solely on getting the win. If it happens to come with four tries, even better but they won't be worried about a bonus point.
    3. Connacht can win in Toulouse.

I'm done. As this thread also looks to be.

Not if connacht win the last 3 games. Connacht beat Wasps with TBP, or deny Wasps a LBP and connacht can finish ahead of them. What part of that concept do you not understand.

    Wasps 12
    Connacht 9

    Connacht win 4-0
    Connacht 13
    Wasps 12

The group is out of Wasps control.

Look at Leinster last season at Wasps, decent first half but when the greater need of Wasps kicked in they hockeyed Leinster. Wasps wont want to trust Toulouse to show up for a game that means nothing to them and everything to connacht.

if 2 is happennig because of insanely thinking 3 that's  a huge mistake.
    Ridiculously misses anticipation

they won't trust. FFS I'm just saying table situation (a possible unnsure joker) + Bath next week means they won't be 110%. And Connacht is able to grab a BP againt a "normal" Wasps team at home
    Nothing to be mad about:ermm:

but everything we've seen from wasps for the last 18 months shows they are fully invested in the ERCC home and away which is why they have assembled the squad they have.

Last season, big away wins over Bath and Leinster, and a 4 point loss at Toulon
This season they got a draw at Toulouse in the last play of the game.

Christmas eve game (Bath) already on debate on Wasps forum. No topic for Connacht away game
Means not much, just about making some you even more angry :D

There is no topic on boards.ie for it either. Does that mean Connacht don't care and are focussing purely on the Ulster game the following weekend?
