Just had fried rice of chicken, carrots, red onion, sugar snap peas, peppers and a few cashews, with splash of soy sauce and lots of chilli, chucked in the whole grain rice and it was delicious.

A very bold weekend and particularly today. Started with a hearty fryup of sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms and beans. Sank a litre of orange juice with it. After a few pints on Saturday night, I ordered a lamb balti with mushroom pilau rice. Delish. This afternoon I finished off the leftovers. Just made a beef casserole and roasties for the family and they're tucking in. Not in work tomorrow so I'm thinking of finishing off the weekend with a few more beers and maybe, just maybe, a chinese! Working all next bank holiday weekend, so pigging out this weekend instead.

Back to basics tonight. Bacon and cabbage with mash. Parsely sauce over the bacon in a vain hope that it will add some sparkle. I hate Mondays.

Just had Patatas Brava, a spanish omelette and some dish of aubergine, onions and red peppers. Am now eating a cinnamon and lemon creme brulee while washing it down with a glass of Spanish red.
