Won't catch this tomorrow. Best we could hope for is a draw, haven't won in that shít hole since Jesus was roaming the lands. No idea how the back four is gonna line up. I like Conte and Costa. I guess out of all the teams in the league, I detest these the most.

I expect them to beat us. They've been playing very well, and we've been poor. We've also been holding onto this "Undefeated" tag for too long now. Let's get rid of that and start trying to figure out what the problem is. Obviously, i'd take a win or a draw, i'm just still pissed after the last few performances.

4-1 to Chelsea..Hazard and Costa are on fire at the moment.

Heart says draw, but brain knows the answer....Poch please reuse your City plan and stuff the bastards.

Hard to see past a defeat, though we were low before the Arsenal game and we pulled a draw out there. A derby is a derby.

I hope we don't lose our heads like last season. The crowd will be on Dembele's back so he will need to take it easy.

With the injuries we've got, it's most likely going to be four at the back.

I don't know who is going to play left back but surly Vertonghen has to play CB after the way Dier and Wimmer played together against Monaco,no pace whatsoever between the two of them,or else play a back three, dreading this game but you never know, last years encounter should give our lads a bit of motivation at least.

I may be completely wrong but i hope we start laying into them from the word go. They're a bunch of plastics with their blood money.

Besides it being a derby last season must still sting. Any news on Toby being fit?

We always play better when the pressure is off (I like most others here see Chelsea clear favourites). I hope we can give them a game and play good football.

I read toby is back training for Swansea game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,393 ✭✭✭MonkieSocks

He got too much space to spin and shoot.

    Great Goal though.

Terrible to put in all that effort and dominate the game and concede just before half time.

    Go again lads

Good play and very importantly a good attitude so far. Keep it up and we can have something here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

Pity about that Chelsea goal,it was probably our best first half of the season so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,393 ✭✭✭MonkieSocks

    Ah Jayus.

Giving away the ball cheaply caused that goal.

Our crisp passing game has gone out the door

    Son's first touch, very poor.

    We need Rose back, quickly.

I don't think we have played well this season but for 1 or 2 games anyway unbeaten run goes and unless we improve our squad it's back to a top 5 or 6 for us

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

Decent enough performance,we need Toby and rose back in defense asp.

Their equaliser just before half time , against the run of play, changed the whole game.

It seemed to suck all the confidence out of us.

We need to get a run of wins together, now the unbeaten tag has gone

Dembele had a stinker, cost us both goals. looking like top 5 at best now with the squad we have.

we lack creativity big time imho. Lamela is missed, and again I cant understand why we paid €30 for sissoukuo (?)... and yes I do wish that that was not a typo and we put the money towards a no. 10.

The first half of the match was enjoyable, we dominated and played confidently. I was praying for us to go into the half time break one up but then Pedro's goal changed the game. The confidence seeping out was quite visible. The heads started to go down, Chelsea started winning all the 50/50s and the passing game from the first half disappeared.

Before starting our three London derbies in a row I said we will draw with Arsenal, beat West Ham and lose to Chelsea - so I can't be too disappointed.

We've gone long periods without key players and we've dropped to seven points off the top. Poch needs to get the players back fit as quickly as possible and look to revert to the 3-5-2, it is the most balanced system that suits our squad.

I notice Coutinho and Ferminio are injured, plus Mane is heading off to the African Nations Cup, so it will be interesting to see how Liverpool play without their key players.

I do think they will drop off now. However, they are playing one game in a week at the moment so it's benefiting them too much because, they can do Gegganpress (sp?) effectively. The real test will be next year when they will have to play twice a week (if they manage to finish in top 5 or 6).

The only player who does this hard pressing effectively is Lamela and his through balls always lead to a chance. However, we do not know when he will be back.

Re: Sissokho - Poch said he did not make the bench because of tactics or similar. Should we believe him?

I also read McKenzie has also left the job. Is it true?

Nothing to do with tactics, he isn't trying a leg in training. Unless he shapes up, he'll be banished. Once you get on Pochettino's bad side, your as good as gone.
