It's gotten very cold here and drops just starting now.

It's a shame as yesterday was beautiful but Autumn starting now I suppose

Over an inch of rain forecast now.

Haven't seen a forecast in a few days but just looking at Met.ie now, it doesn't look too bad for here, lower than 25mm anyway.

I thought it was only women got cold especially the ones that light fires before winter, unless you are a woman.

What do you do with pea straw?

Its chopped going through the baler. Used for bedding. A lot cheaper than barley straw. Bit dusty but does the job under bulls and store lambs. Got the last 16 bales when it started to rain

Here's hoping but usually what happens is come Tuesday or Wednesday another low sweeps in and no mention of the dry spell. Breezy here with on off drizzle

I hope so. Like November here this morning. Desperate showers. The only stock that are content and thriving are the ones inside.

Sunny spells and heavy showers, with the odd few hours of rain thrown in with the last week. Hope won't be as heavy next week as contractor coming to get out last of slurry with the pipe

We seem to be missing the worst of the showers in West Clare this morning. No harm as its been raining here for the last two months and land is in ****e.

Fair wind blowing now, with heavy showers. Nothing compared to across the pond but enough to let you know what's loose around the yard

    Fairly windy here too.

I'd say the fish are having a great time feeding out at sea.
