I think I'd hold off on getting Hazard until Chelsea's fixtures turn really good in GW15.

I may do this to avoid going completely mad with points hits. But on form he is fixture proof, especially at home, and with Everton missing Gueye this week I'm worried...

Yeah on paper the pool mids should match or better him but Chelsea assets were always gonna be high on mu WC wishlist. The hit means I'll have a spend of 31.8 on defence a 4.3M fifth mid with Bolasie as my 4th. This should help maintain my TV until I do pull the trigger. GW13 is the earliest week I was considering.

Can you downgrade a premium defender instead?

My only premium def is Walker. So I'm not up for downgrading him. I might just leave it for the moment and work out getting him in over the next few weeks.

Did Valencia/Milner to Francis/Hazard for -4 going to stick with Rashford for another week

Can't believe I did this with a heap of games to come, going to take my own advice and stop chasing money and wait till all midweek games are over, might have to take a -12 this week if Shaqiri's news isn't good.

I'll probably do Valencia and son to Francis and coutinho after tonights games with my 2 FTS.

    Choo Choo!!! All on board

Joe Allen has done nothing in the last 23 hours. Allen out Gundogan in!

Seriously though, is Gundogan for fletcher worth -4.
It'd mean playing 3-5-2 this week with Deeney benched and then looking at a cheap striker for Deeney. I always prefer 3 strikers though and anytime I go 3-5-2 it doesn't last long.

    Front 8

    Allen - firmino - lalanna - Sanchez - fletcher

    Aguero - Costa - deeney

I'm going to wait a week and possibly do bolasie to gundog and capoue to Allen and AOA the ass out of that week

Yeah, I'm not 100% yet, really good player but doesn't have a great record for scoring goals but 4 goals in 2 games...

Worried about the return of Giroud and Ramsey that it could mean diminishing returns from both Sanchez and Walcott.

Considering a -4 to bring in Hazard and maybe Chadli or Gundogan for Walcott and Firmino

People doubting Sanchez pleases me greatly.

shaqiri is very injury prone player and will drop again in price, your probably better off just getting Gündogan instead and get money increase tonight

I've talked myself out of 3-5-2. Such slim pickings for a cheap 3rd striker. Think I'd prefer to spend the money I got from Walcott to Allen on switching Deeney to lukaku this week or next.

Yeah definitely think fletcher & lukaku over gundogan & diomende/Keane is the way to go. I know I'd have a little extra cash with option b but it's not worth a hit or reshaping my team for.

After a frustrating few weeks where I'm stuck at the same OR (250k) while others are making progress I've pulled the trigger on a -12

    Lallana Capoue Bellerin Valencia out
    Coutinho Gundogan Alonso Mee in

I think Gundogan is the real deal, wouldn't be surprised if I still have him in GW38

    Gundogan.... to the bandwagon!!

Walcott and Benteke to Giroud and Gundogan

    Perhaps

    Get in my team, Gundogan

    Sterling & Sigurdsson -> Coutinho & Gundogan?

    No hit.

Downgraded Cech so going with no premium keeper for the first time.

Not looking forward to rotating the keepers already as it's an added weekly headache.

Right. I have £7.4m to replace Arnautovic. I chose him over Allen last GW for a short-term punt 'cause I had the cash to do so.

    My frontline is
    Sanchez Hazard Firmino Arnie (Whelan)
    Aguero Lukaku Rashford

Is Gundogan my best option for a short-term punt ? It'll be for a 4 pts hit.

    - edit -
Just saw his career stats. Jeez they're weak for FPL...

    He's injured a lot.

    Yeah but still...

105 Bundesliga games with Borussia Dortmund and only 10 goals... in FHFC words his current scoring form is unsustainable. Or has Guardiola made him a new man :p?

Get rid of Rashford if you are going to do anything. He hasn't looked like doing anything in a while and will also not play every game.

Hard to know with Gundogan...if I remember correctly, Yaya had similarly poor scoring record before coming to PL. Either way, I'll be waiting a week or two before deciding on him. I definitely do not think it is worth a hit.

    Went ahead with these moves.

2 fts.. should I go with Lallanna and Sterling to

    A) Hazard and Allen
    B) Coutinho and Gundogan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,766 ✭✭✭RossieMan

    A would be more solid.

I don't see the big rush on Gundogan, he'll be injured by Friday.

First time in a while I've done very early rage transfers.....I must say I've found it to be quite cathartic :D

Seems to be a battle of the bandwagons looming - I'm on the Allen wagon....would be wary of Gundogan getting rotated tbh.....but having said that I've been pretty much wrong about everything this season so far so Allen will probably be benched this weekend and Gundogan will get a hat-trick

Got rid of Rashford for Austin yesterday before Austin's price rise.
Trying to avoid hits but Capoue to Allen and Firmino/Couthino to Hazard also tempting. Worth the hit?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭FHFC

I'm wary of writing off the Gund-wagon having dismissed Allen too quickly and got burned.

But career stats, and rotation have to be a concern. Sane, Silva, KdB, Sterling, Nolito and Gundogan for 4 midfield spots.

Peps formation seems to vary between 4141 and 4231 the last couple od games, and where it's the former Gundogan will be DM surely? Didn't see the game last night, will watch highlights later, what did the formation look like? fotmob called it 4141.
