Depends on your formation. If you played with three defenders, then yes. If four or more then not.

What formation do you have? If it's 3 at the back, Lowton will come in, if you started with 4 at the back, your formation will adjust to fit the first sub.

Back in the Ramsey year I only got him in for price rises initially.

Wish to fck I'd done same with Allen. He's an excellent option as 4th mid and allows huge flexibility over the other 3 mid spots.

Original plan was to get Grant for Jaku last GW. Should have done that. 4 pts better last GW.
Thus, this GW no need for Pieters. So 11 pts better in defense with no 4 pts hit (no Lovren out). Another 2 pts from Grant too (with regards to Foster).
This GW should have got Mata in. Another 2 pts (with regards to Arnie).
Next GW, Arnie suspension will require another 4 pts hit.

So. 23 pts lost from 2 mistimed and wrongly done transfers... It hurts.

Back down to 375K after briefly breaching the top 100K a few weeks back....it's amazing what a few captain fails in a row can do.

Why the glut of transfers? Is your team a shambles? I only scored about 10 more than you my only failing really was having a captain that blanked. My thoughts reached to tearing the team but essentially that's all that happened. Was your problem just your captain pick?

75 brings me up 45k to 160k. Despite that I got red arrows in a lot of my paid leagues which is a more accurate reflection of my score.

I had 2 FT's so things needed a bit of a refresh - Valencia, Eriksen & Shaq to Hazard, Fuchs & Allen.

This week's captain pick (Lukaku) was the only thing that went right pretty much....the previous 3 or 4 captain's all blanked big time

81 brings me up to 240k overall...that's 5 green arrows in a row. Top of my money league now too.

I feel it has been a bit of a strange season fantasy wise. There hasn't really been any bandwagoners. Look at the top scorers in all positions and there are no real surprises (bar Capoue and Allen, but I think they are both aberrations). I know Vardy and Mahrez were exceptional cases last year, but there are usually a few unknowns who people hesitate to get on and then become must haves.

This year it is pretty much the usual suspects. Hard to know what this means strategy-wise, but I'm starting to think along the lines of rotating big hitters in on short term basis to try to maximise the points you get from them...but very very tricky.

87! After dropping back a lot last week I've made the ground up again, 59k and shot into first in my main league. Only had 10 playing due to Amat being dropped again too, happy days!

I find it odd that some people set a target each gameweek of let's say 50 points. That makes no odds when the real average is mid 60s like this gameweek.
