Just thought I'd start a match thread rather than having the team thread cluttered up with it like last week. No fancy write up, sorry.

NOW WITH ADDED TEAM SHEETS AND 100% MORE TABLES. BONUS FIZZ BAR FOR LIMITED TIME ONLY.

Ulster lost away to pro12 champs and away to joint second in top 14. According to many on here the season is now over.

I suspect the team tonight will prove this false and prove why they are many people's choice for the pro12 title this year.

Pack needs to take a leaf out of Munsters play book from today. They've not been too competitive this season but the giant woke up today in Thomond so let's hope we see the same in Ravenhill.

    LET'S GO ULSTER!

5 points required tonight if we want to keep our European season on life support.

In the pub up home watching it, 2.70 a pint. With the current exchange rate that's sub 3 euro :D

yeah he's not the best, doesn't know when to end a sentence and just gets lost halfway through his point

That's young Joey in the 22 jersey for Chicago

The way he was talking about Ian Whitten with "his top off" was complete cringe.

    Disaster feeling.

He occasionally gives a nugget of really interesting commentary that I find insightful and explains the reason something was done.

    But

He really does waffle at times and he doesn't have a commentators voice, it's like what happens when you hear your own voice back and think it doesn't sound right. That's BOD on the TV.

Pissing rain and the Irish side is the only side affected...what else is new?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 888 ✭✭✭Cathalthesmart

Please Ulster just concede the try before it's to late to respond.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,972 ✭✭✭captbarnacles

Ref calls use it, they don't and they get a penalty?

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Lads, I'm falling in love with Charles Piutau...

Is it too late to back out of the wedding? :pac:

    Jaysus.

There was nothing on there for Ulster yet Piutau finds a gap. Sensational try.

Are you going to fill yet another Ulster match thread with overwhelming negativity?

I was right though, that pen pulled Ulsters finger out....at least I hope it stays out.

What's wrong with Ulster, have they never played in rain before? How many handling errors have Exeter has?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,071 ✭✭✭✭wp_rathead

seen as no one else is mentioning it:
lads what the feck is up with the Exeter jersey- its hideous

Good man, getting the bargains. Get used to having sweet FA to spend on yourself after the wedding... ;)

Exeter player put his shoulder straight into Best at the breakdown there. Good work rate from Best to get back so quick.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,710 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Ulster's scrum is getting a mullering. Try from a moment of magic.

    Need to do much better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,710 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Henderson off with a shoulder injury.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

CP is just on a different planet to any other player in the pitch.

I wouldn't be surprised if Henderson has been carrying something all season, hasn't been right.

Has to be a penalty here, Pitau clearly held. Maybe a yellow.

EDIT: on second viewing, he begun the tackle when ball was still in hand. Borderline.

they were already warned in first half. Should have been for that

Yup, Ulster are going to f*ck this up.

I don't watch the AP so I'm a bit ignorant of the Exeter players, but this Woodburn guy is very impressive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 888 ✭✭✭Cathalthesmart

Why are Ulster going for goal? They will either put it wide of concede a pen/try straight away.

Get rid of my "or" they did both!

If only Ulster had a pack of forwards worthy of their backs. They're getting feck all from up front. So poor.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 888 ✭✭✭Cathalthesmart

What's the point in going for goal if your going to concede 3 points straight after every single time.
