Take it with a pinch of salt, but Puel was asked directly if Austin was undroppable.

He answered 'No', and that it's important that he doesn't play all the games from the start because of his injury record. I'd imagine that might mean he gets rested in the EFL next week, but still.

Dropped a further 18k places from yesterday to 416k. Rashford, Firmino and Valencia left to salvage some points back to save my gameweek hopefully.

What a mare that was. Sanchez with the armband and Aguero vice with a tekkers peno miss to boot! Two guys behind me with the armband on walcott and clinging to my lead by 3 points in my main league. 31 and milner to play sees me fly down to 108.2K OR. Evans got that 5th yellow too the git!

Cant get it right. Hits last week were a total disaster. Banked this week. Same result.

My team of just Belgians and no transfers out of the window is at 15k. Wish my actually team could do something like that stupid game mocks you whenever it can!

53 pts. Lovren, Firmino & Rashford to go. Good so far. Could have been excellent had I gone with my guts and captained Walcott. 2 GWs in a row now that my previous history with him cost me pts (wanted to get him in last GW for Sterling). If tomorrow goes well I could go back to my pre-GW4 apocalypse rank.

Up to 112k. But that's meaningless until the last min of the GWs is played... and even with 3 players going... who knows? This GW showed us how badly and how quickly things can turn. A RC, an OG and/or a missed pen and it can all go wrong...



I haven't looked at it in details but again (I tracked this for 35 GWs last season), it seems that the most popular captains (FFS poll & here) are mainly failing or not delivering much.

Thought you said your previous ones did not go very well... Did they pay off in the subsequent GWs?

That's what I'm hoping for my Koscielny failed transfer this week. Was 50/50 with a Saints def but Saints run put me off. Good for me that they conceded today. Hopefully the next 2 GWs make my choice the best one.

No my hits have all gone well so far. One week I brought firmino in and he didn't play but I got capoue off the bench . The hits were unavoidable as I had a 433 that I wasn't happy with. This week I did baines mane rodwell to pieters Walcott and son. Even though son didn't work I'm happy to have him for next week and happy to have a player at his price point as there are many decent alternatives. I did mention in the hits thread about ozil scoring a week after I transferred him out so maybe that's where you are getting it from.

50 (-4) with 3 left unfortunately a double united defense... Hopefully (highly unlikely) united can keep a cleanie....

Either way delighted how this weekend has panned out. Mainly due to poor performances of top players in the league. I have said previously on here that 50 a week is my target. Haven't hit it yet. But on 400 (-4) at week 8 I'm heading in the right direction.

I was wondering why it wasn't on tonight (didn't realise it's on tomorrow) but yeah, it's only because of the Liverpool/Utd game.
Speaking of Moses, he looked lively yesterday, will definitely consider him if his form continues and he holds his starting place.
