    here. we. go

    -8

    Pickford
    Valencia Monreal Friend
    Sanchez(C) Walcott Son Firmino Sterling
    Aguero Benteke(VC)

    subs: Foster Diomande Wilson Amat

    Foster

    Verthongen VVD A.Smith

    Capoue Mane Eriksen Walcott

    Benteke Lukaku Aguerooooo (C)

    Jakupovic Lallana Valencia Amat

Not overly confident this week tbh....just brought in VVD for Baines. Capoue starting isn't ideal...but don't want to risk a Lallana one point 5 minute cameo

    Cech

    Stones Vertonghen Lovern

    Sanchez Mane Firmino Walcott

    Aguero Benteke(c) Deeney

Think West Ham are truly awful and can see Benteke filling his boots.

Sold Antonio last night. He will probably get a hat trick today.

That would be my worst GW8 score in years! GW8 has been pretty special It's surely got to let us down at some point.

    Foster
    Williams Evans Smith
    Sterling Sanchez Firmino Antonio
    Benteke Costa Aguero

    Pickford, Capoue, Kone, Amaat

Quite worried for my defence this week. I'm still looking for a possible FT, I can do a straight 4.5 swap for Kone but not sure who would be worth bringing in.

Captaincy on Aguero for the moment, and will probably stay that way. VC on Benteke because it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that both Kun and Alexis are rested.

Lads, sorry to do this but haven't had time to look at my team. Team is:

    Heaton
    Gibson, Holebas, Evans
    Antonio, Capoue, Firmino, Sanchez
    Lukaku, Costa, Aguero

    Pickford, Amat, Snodgrass, Williams

    01. in the bank and two free transfers. Anyone pick any?

Would be tempted to use them to try get Theo in for Antonio that's what I did but I don't have Sanchez.

Could be time to move on Antonio and Capoue.

I'd keep Snodgrass over those two.

Edit - I'd be looking at a -4 and move Lukaku on as you could save money there. Baines back so Lukaku loses penos. Benteke, Deeney and Defoe are all cheaper and on penos. That would give you extra cash needed for replacing Antonio and Capoue.

    Pickford
    Walker Francis Baines
    Antonio Sanchez Firmino Snodgrass
    Benteke Lukaku Aguero(c)

    Bench: Mandandanda Capoue McAuley Amat

    Foster
    Hector Walker Stones
    Sanchez Walcott Redmond Sterling
    Aguero Lukaku Austin

Spent more than I intended in defence with bringing in Bellerin but I couldn't ignore Arsenals upcoming games.

Why would you want to move Capoue from that lineup, you're not going to gain worthwhile money and he's still the best bet under 5m.
I haven't been following the transfer thread @lemlin but I've felt the need to get Walcott in this week with upcoming fixtures in mind. There's a few ways you could do the same.

    Heaton
    Gibson, Holebas, Evans
    Antonio, Capoue, Firmino, Sanchez
    Lukaku, Costa, Aguero

    Pickford, Amat, Snodgrass, Williams

I'm thinking Lukaku to Benteke and Antonio to Walcott.

    Heaton
    Stones Bellerin Evans
    Son Sanchez Walcott CApoue
    Lukaku Benteke Aguero

    (Foster Amat Fletcher Baines)
    1.0 ITB

    Heaton or Foster ?

I seen somebody earlier play Heaton over Foster but I wouldn't.

Can't decide whether to play Pickford for the outside chance of a cleanie or Foster for the probable save points.

Tough call but I fancy Stoke to get 3 points so I'd play Foster.

    2 questions lads

    Pickford or Mandanda?

    Snodgrass or Bolasie?

    Is this a real question??

Is this what we've become lads!! ;)

    Pickford
    Evans - Holebas - Williams
    Walcott - Sanchez - Firminho - Antonio
    Lukaku - Aguero (c) - Benteke

Mandanda: Capoue - Kone - Amat

I considered using my AOA to start Capoue over Williams but there might be weeks when I have an injury crisis rather than just poor fixtures.

Antonio got a stay of execution as a -4 for Son would have been some risky shenanigans. Also I mulled long and hard between Benteke or Austin.

    I'll settle for 4 goals from Sergio this GW8 I think :)

This is the week where FPL really conflicts with loyalties. Have kept faith with Ibra, but thinking if he does nothing this week he is gone, will also free up cash to up date midfeild or defence.

Flip side, he is playing Liverpool, and obviously want Liverpool to win. A Liverpool win with an Ibra goal he will probabaly be held on to. Otherwise he is more than likely gone.

In other news, did finally get in Snodgrass and Sanchez with two FT, now watch Hazard and Antonio score who were let go for them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,396 ✭✭✭COH

    Foster
    Williams/Lovren/Valencia
    Firmino/Walcott/Sterling/Payet
    Deeney/Aguerro(c)/Lukaku

    [Pickford/Kone/Fletcher/Amat]

Downgraded Capoue who I'm never going to play anyway to Fletcher for his 2 point hauls and Antonio to Walcott because having two West Ham and no Arsenal was giving me nightmares. Chances of clean sheet points for my defence this week looks to he a resounding zero to none but nothing new there!

    Fill yer boots Aguerro

Deciding to leave out or put in Aguero in your fantasy team is absolute torture..

He flopped in the previous game week & I gained massively from it

    Pickford
    Lovren - Stones - A.Smith
    Sterling - Sanchez - Firmino - Antonio
    Lukaku - Aguero (c) - Deeney

Heaton: Holebas - Capoue - Amat

Had 2FT but only used one (Williams -> A.Smith) which gives me some nice WAT/BOU rotation at the back, and a decent first sub once I downgrade Capoue.

Went with Pickford over Heaton in goals, not much in it but I feel there is a slighlty better chance of save points.

Antonio was lucky to survive, but I'd rather carry the transfer and see how things stand after the weekend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,654 ✭✭✭greedygoblin

    Cech
    McAuley Pieters Holebas
    Sánchez Mané Antonio Townsend
    Aguero(c) Lukaku Benteke

    Pickford - Capoue Williams Amat

Used my 2FT to do Lovren & Rashford -> Pieters & Benteke, which has left me with 2 Palace in my front 8!
Decided to ignore Walcott this week. Antonio and Spacecraft given one more chance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,598 ✭✭✭MarkSRFC21

Haven't been too active recently and zoned out completely for the intl break, but feeling refreshed about the game and ready to go. This is the lineup and going by previous gw8's I expect nothing less than 100 points :D. Fairly pointless FT of Evans-> Francis as I didn't want to lose a FT next week.

    Pickford
    Holebas - Francis - Lovren
    Capoue - Firmino - Sanchez - Antonio
    Lukaku - Costa - Aguero(c)

    Foster - Snodgrass - Amat - Williams

One last question though lads. Start Capoue or Snodgrass?

It's literally the easiest decision in the game

    Pickford
    Kos Evans Smith
    Sanchez Firmino Walcott Antonio
    Aguero (c) Benteke Lukaku

Stuck with Kun (c) in the end. Benteke only 8% ownership so a nice differential in itself if he fills his boots.

Who to play out of Capoue away to Boro or Rashford away to Liverpool??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,262 ✭✭✭iroced

    Foster
    Kos Lovren Holebas
    Sanchez (C) Walcott Antonio Firmino
    Aguero (VC) Lukaku Rashford
    Jaku ; Capoue, McAuley, Amat

    Sterling+Baines -> Walcott+Kos were my 2 free transfers.

I'm not very confident about this GW... I feel my team is overall set for like 2-3 GWs ago and my transfers were done 1 or 2 GWs too late. Never a good sign.

Leicester with one eye on the champions league by the looks of it. Last time that happened they were 4-0 down at half time

    Grant
    Holebas Robertson Smith
    Sanchez Firmino Antonio Payet(vc)
    Aguero Deeney(c) Lukaku

Optimistic of my uber cheap defence doing something this GW. Would prefer Aguero and Sanchez blanks, but am fine if they keep it under 10 points before Deeney(c) tomorrow
